Sorry couldn't continue watching with the needless music
Good review but you may want to lower the background music volume or even just get rid of it for the future videos. That should boost your CZcams watch time. All the best!
Thank you, boss! I appreciate the feedback. I'm hoping these upcoming videos resolve those issues and sound a little better.
I've had mine UDMPro for 4 years now. Works like a charm. Thinking about getting another one as this one is coming up on five years already. Even if just to have it sitting in a box on standby.
I dont blame ya. I find myself logging into mine for no reason sometimes just because the UI is so nice, lol. It's a great device for the price and allows me to feel like I am managing a commercial-grade router for a fraction of the price. Thanks for the comment, boss!
Nice video. When I moved into my new house I thought of buying the regular dream machine. But I went with UDM-Pro . At first you are right the cost of the machine plus adding access points. Had it sitting in my office for about 1 month until I got everything I needed. Once I had everything worked like a charm. Access points permission plus added camera system to it. Haven't had any issue with it yet and still loving it. One thing I really like is the apps for monitoring my network and video from any where in the world. Great video keep up the good work. One tip just turn down the music a little lower. Had to turn on the subtitles to catch some of the things you were talking about.
Nice! I am enjoying it too. I have had some weird anomalies with the traffic filtering as I attempt to block some IOT devices at night, but it may be user error. Other rules work fine, it just has something to do with these specific devices I'm messing with. Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it and will get those audio levels down a bit!
Another category, retired tech guys that still love tinkering in tech, that have no friends. 🤣 I picked up a UDM SE within the last month.
Lol, I love it! How do you like the SE so far? I'm enjoying the Pro and a lot of its Next Generation Firewall capabilities. Thank you for the support!
Nice video. Im thinking I'll check out the standard dream machine as well. I didn't think about the extra cost of the access points.
cool video
lol when you buy what you don’t need then gripe about it … I got the se and it’s excellent. Handles my cameras thru out with out breaking a sweat… I got the UDR for my Folks house it’s ok still need am extra AP for full
Coverage.. down side is caps out at around 700 when you have all the features set on network app and you can stably run only
Two cameras.
Nice! I've been hearing alot of people have gone with the SE and have no complaints. Yea the advanced security features do bog down overall throughput. Thankfully, my bandwidth has been alright so far. I am thinking about picking up a second long range AP for better coverage throughout the edge of the house as well. I appreciate the support!
Good video but the music is too loud and monotonous.
Thank you for the feedback. Yeah, im still trying to get the editing down, and the audio is kicking my butt haha!
@techlogiclounge Just start with getting clean voice recording. Try to have that sitting around 0 to +3db average. Then add your music in real low like -15, -18. Listen to it on headphones to adjust. Music is just ambiance so you want it to hide in the background.
Agree. Good video, music 😂
