We all learn as we go. Hot molds cooler plastic. We've all made the same mistake. I think you did a fantastic job
Thanks man! I appreciate it! 👊
Chris Jones always uses a hot plate wit no issues. Go to his channel and get tips. His channel is Worlds Worse Fishing.
I watch him all the time bro, Ive got it figured out now, it's been awhile since I made that video.
Those hot ones are the bomb!!! I’d throw those any day.
What was the point of degassing when you introduced a bunch of air when you mixed it?
I think you answered the question on your own. I degassed it because I introduced a bunch of air to it. You also add air and moisture to it when you add color, flake, and powders.
Enjoyed most of this tutorial.
One suggestion: lose the background “music.”
At least replace it with some less annoying.
Bill, I appreciate your comment. For the meantime I'm using youtubes audio library, which unfortunately doesn't have a great selection of music. If I ever get to the point of generating some money from this channel I will invest in some good tunage.
What is that noise in the background
That would be my ventilation system
Sounds like the auto focus on the camera going in and out you can see it focusing at the very end when he's showing the baits and its matching the sound.
@@UWPcustombaits could be that too, I have switched lens since then.
Where did you get the vacuum chamber?
Ebay my man! I think it was around $150
@@B8N_Tackle awesome thank you , what drank is it ? I did some pours but had alot of bubbles
@@rickvaldez9282 if your referring to plastic, that was dead on plastic. Now I use bait plastics.
@@B8N_Tackle lol sorry I meant what brand is your vacuum chamber
@@rickvaldez9282 it's an off brand, no name on her.
No hot plate. Drum roll please🤦♂️never used a hot plate in 16 years. Your plastic was way too cold when you poured. For them quickly and keep the plastic hot and there won't be cold breaks
Appreciate it man! Yeah the damn hot plate has been really irritating and frustrating.
No problem.
@@dennisbingham6009 what do you mean to cold plastic it was 350 which is the right temperature and these where his first open pours
@@LeviVanSluijs just in my opinion a hot plate is not necessary when pouring swimbaits. Your molds will get warm with each pour. If your plastic hits your temp, u will be good. When one person on CZcams showing a hot plate some will will feel u need one. Save your money and buy more plastic.....enjoy!
