The rock engraving looks like it has Zeeuwse knopjes (Zeeland buttons) drawn on it at 16:50. These are an old-time ornament from the Zeeland province of the Netherlands.

One is a full figure of person wearing a long gown, a large head piece with some form of initials and alongside a string of small round marks all in a row. Clearly the figure was european and the marks ? A calendar or some form of recording how long they had been here ?

A good Hiddins (age 74) yarn but shipwreck survivors just didn't have the resources, or knowledge of target, to trek inland for hundreds of kilometres. I would have remained on the coast where at least seafood was guaranteed. And try to signal passing ships with a mirror.

What about the cave paintings that the aborigines say are not theirs either. Definitely Dutch landed in Australia way before the British. All has been cover up and dismantled to never be seen again

You could be right, although I looked at the carving and it looked more like a seated Buddha than a European to me.

I think I watched Bush Tucker Man in England back in the early 90's. Now you could use Google maps and sit at home and look for them.
