Ciao Enri, la Royal è anche una delle mie preferite! Ho voluto fare questo video perchè spesso il dressing originale viene modificato e cercando in rete ce ne sono di ogni tipo! Questo è il dressing come pensato da Lee Wulff, si potrebbe solo sostituire il bucktail per le ali con la coda di vitello! ;)

I've only ever tied bushy dries with calf tail or calf body hair for the wings. How does bucktail compare?

Is almost the same, but the original Royal Wulff is whit bucktail wings! ;)

Many dispute that , Lee Wulff fished Minipi Watershed and a lot of flies left behind at the lodge were of Calf tail. @@UmbertoOregliniDBTR

Chris Sinclair - Two months before his death Lee Wolff taped a video, “I Was Born To Fish”. I have a copy. In the video he ties a RW. The material for wing and tail is buck tail. I should also add that he tied all his flies without the use of a vise even when he tied his size 28 grizzly midge!
