Route 18 is operated by First Bus Glasgow, and runs between the City Centre, on Holland Street in the West of the City Centre, to Greenhills, near East Kilbride. The route passes through Merchant City, Glasgow Green, Bridgeton, Rutherglen, Nerston, East Kilbride and Whitehills. Route 18 is part of First Glasgow's SimpliCITY network, with the route being branded with a red colour. In addition, the buses operating on this route are mainly new ADL E400s, with the First Glasgow 18 branding as well.
