They weren't all over 270lbs when Pick Your King came out. Not even close (look at the video). Their drummer Dean looked like he would float away if he farted the wrong way. The "Ian Mackaye" record is just a reissue of "filthkick" with a couple different tracks added on to it. My roommate, who is actually in the 280lb area is much fatter than they were on the cover. Hard to believe almost 35 years ago… playing this show was a highlight for all of us at that time… we were banned from the ball because of the fireball
I was at the Condon School show on the UofO campus. I'm pretty sure that was 87. Jerry A blew a fireball, and the show got shut down soon after. I remember slipping around in the pit on whatever fuel Jerry was using. There was a minor riot afterward. Somebody broke into an equipment closet, and when the school principal came out to announce the show was over he was pelted with rubber gym balls from the audience.

Poison Idea never played at MHCC!!!! This was at the Memorial Coliseum!! I went to MHCC. I lived very close to MHCC in 88.
