- Hello everyone! I hope you're all having an amazing day or night, wherever you are in the world. 🤗
Tonight's video is one that's long overdue... an eyeshadow palette collection and declutter. Phew. This one took forever! 😅 And honestly, I think I could have done way better in the decluttering department, but it's very hard for me to get rid of things. I'm not sure why that is. 🤔 Oh well. I'll probably revisit my collection at the end of the year and reevaluate. 😉
I know this isn't a traditional ASMR video, but I tried to make it as relaxing as possible considering the subject matter. Also, my wish is to keep a variety of content on this channel. 😃 I hope you all enjoy. If you do, please hit those subscribe and like buttons and I'll see ya in the next video.

Hey everyone! 👋 I just wanted to say that I know I didn’t do a great job getting rid of things. 🤦🏼♀️ But... I tried and will reevaluate my collection at the end of the year. I do cycle through my palettes weekly. I use a random generator to choose a palette almost daily unless I already know what I want to use, so that’s good. Alas, I know there are still too many not getting love in my collection. I will work on it! The first step is admitting you have a problem! 😉
Also, sorry if this is too loud in some places. I didn’t use my Yeti on this one, so couldn’t hear myself. 😬 Sill learning here.

@@nykolefoxasmr3632 I know it’s a lot. I’m at 60 eye shadow palettes as well and I’m so addicted to collecting more. I feel like so many palettes won’t get any consistent use or love. There are so many new palettes that keep coming out too. Are you on a no buy right now?
@@christinely3868 that’s what I’ve started to realize. It’s so easy to just buy them (especially since, like you said, they’re constantly being released), but realistically how often will each of them actually get used? I’m on a low buy right now. If it’s something I really, really want, I’ll get it, but I’m not going to buy everything like I used to. 😂

I like how you think when decluttering. I do disagree with you on food sport palette, teo shades in there were duds for me. Though it was pre-pressed glitters era (dislike those) I felt like I lost my money on it still :)

It’s actually only 267. 🥺 That’s okay though! I started my channel back in February. Someday I’ll reach 1k! But I enjoy doing this above all else and love the subscribers that I already have. I have to do the same. I have over 500 palettes. I hate letting them go for some reason. I know I'm weird. I need to just do it though
You’re not weird at all. I understand not wanting to let them go. I had a hard time coming to grips with myself about it. It’s ok to keep things that make you happy. But if you feel like you should let some go, start small with your decluttering so that it doesn’t feel too overwhelming or like you’re giving up too much at one time. @@rosalindrambo8507 absolutely you can! I had no idea what it was until two years ago myself. ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response. ASMR is an extremely relaxing and pleasant form of paresthesia, which is an abnormal sensation of the skin due to no apparent physical cause. Basically, ASMR creates a tingling sensation that typically begins at the scalp and moves down the nape of the neck and spine. This sensation has been found to induce feelings of extreme relaxation and calmness. It’s often used to soothe stress and anxiety and has been found to be quite effective in helping people sleep. There are many different “triggers” and they all effect people differently. Whispering, tapping, and speaking softly are some of the most effective triggers. Exactly! 👏 Neons would have been amazing considering a neon pink font was used for the cover. I would have screamed with delight if I opened it only to find a bunch of bright, beautiful neons. The palette just doesn’t make sense. 50 Shades of Beige. 🙄🤣💕
