I am also like him. I have only completed my schooling that too in a tamil medium school. I couldn't continue my studies because of some personal reasons. Since I couldn't go to any job, I didn't have the opportunity to learn and improve my English for many years.
Only after getting access to the mobile internet could I learn English. I have been learning English for the past two years and I started my learning by focusing on learning the basic grammar concepts of English so that I can understand the fundamentals and also I can frame sentences on my own. This is how I have been able to express my thoughts into sentences clearly, I believe.
And, I have just started to work on my speaking skills. As I am not used to speaking in English, even though I have been able to use my knowledge and frame sentences when I write, I can't get that fluency when I speak. I think I need to practise more to improve my speaking skills and also I should improve my vocabulary.
By the way, becoming an English tutor is my long term goal. And for that, I have to improve my language skills first of all, so I have been working on those things.
Your videos have been very helpful for me to learn some new phrases, expressions and all. And, whenever I lose some motivation, these kinds of people and conversations help me to get motivated and they get me back on the track.
