I honestly think It was snowball who recovered woody, cause tennis ball told snow ball the incident about woody, and snowball revived him, but he was in the loser chamber, who knows, maybe they were able to make another recovery center and brought him back to life? idk, is it snowball?
Possibly, he can survive fire (thankyou ice cube), survive going deep into dirt, and a kick by teardrop. But if he did survive how come we didn't see him in BFDIA1? As that was like a year after BFDI..
Maybe its secretly non existenty Because when someone was rejoing, non existenty was not the person to rejoin, so when the scooper went to scoop him or her it missed. So maybe he or she revived woody
I think another subject could be Firey, maybe he also recovered Woody after recovering Leafy because in BFB 22 Gelatin tells lollipop that Firey was the one who recovered Leafy in IDFB after he killed her with a mallet. Now that I think about it, Gelatin is also a subject because how could he know about Firey recovering Leafy after it’s been confirmed that he didn’t tell anyone about recovering her to save his reputation. This is highly unlikely though, because if woody stayed dead through the entirety of BFDIA, how would Gelatin know who he is, other than seeing him in the Goiky Canal in BFDIA 2.
It could be Pin after she got her limbs back from her color red and she realized how mean she was to Woody. But Leafy came back to life and she's the only one who is nice to him so either these two are possible of doing it. Or the creators decided to revived him themselves by copying and pasting him back in the show

I'm pretty sure Gelatin didn't kill Leafy. Sure, she got crushed by his hammer, but we don't see her flattened. She just gets slightly distorted and then disappears off-frame. And considering Coiny's claim of Yoyle Metal being freezeproof, we can only assume that it's one of the most durable metals out there.
so, here's my theory. he had his own personal recovory center and was traveling around when he fell into the lake. that's why no one recovored him until after bfdia because he was still alive. he fell into the ocean/lake and drowned and then they tried in idfb and recovored him. (you can also see him in the thumbnail of bfdia 4) or he was recovored in bfdia 3/4 offscreen.
There should really be a bfb episode focused on the crush Woody had with Teardrop on the first season i bet WoodyXTeardrop would be a thing but since Woody got eliminated early that never happened so i would like to see where that goes maybe Teardrop kicking a Woody that tries to impress her everytime can become some sort of gag.

OR because ICE CUBE PUT HIM OUT OF FIRE, he survived, not everyone dies in a fire instantly, he might got the fire when ice cube also got down, he just cleaned up and said thanks to ice cube for saving him, on off camera.
Well my guess is Leafy. Teardrop and Blocky (or Snowball cause he's mean) are in the TLC Ice Cube wouldn't want to betray FreeSmart since she and Book are alternates and might get expelled. I don't personally see TB recovering Woody. And Pin would be too busy with her life to think about Woody who at that time, was already forgotten. Also remember that Woody was technically Leafy's only friend in this stage of the timeline. Woody along with Bubble and Flower were the only people who didn't know Leafy stole Dream Island but Flower was mean to everyone and Bubble became frenemies with Leafy before the finale.

My theory would be that *woody wasn’t dead* Now, let me explain. In In BFDIA, when needle and gelly boi (lol) are riding puffball to get the berries (I suck at this lol). You can see woody laying in the water, and since it’s a space ship, we could have gotten knocked out from the colour gray, fell out the spaceship *since there was a small hole*. Then you can see woody laying in the water and maybe woody swam back to land. This would be highly unlikely tho since you pretty much drown when you are knocked out in water. But then again, it’s a piece of wood and we can see it floats, so that’s my theory.

My theory would be that *woody wasn’t dead*
Now, let me explain. In In BFDIA, when needle and gelly boi (lol) are riding puffball to get the berries (I suck at this lol). You can see woody laying in the water, and since it’s a space ship, we could have gotten knocked out from the colour gray, fell out the spaceship *since there was a small hole*. Then you can see woody laying in the water and maybe woody swam back to land.
This would be highly unlikely tho since you pretty much drown when you are knocked out in water.
But then again, it’s a piece of wood and we can see it floats, so that’s my theory.
If Tennis ball used the recovery center to revive (with your theory)
