EPCOT | Walking Around The World | Genie Plus | Horrible Thunder Storm | September 2023.

Welcome back to The Harrisons Adventures.. Today we're taking our first ever trip to EPCOT!
We headed to EPCOT from Windsor Hills around 10am on a Tuesday morning in late September and it only took us around 15 minutes. The crowd levels weren't awful but since we only have the one day to visit EPCOT, we decided to purchase genie plus for the day and buy a lightening lane for the guardians of the galaxy ride.
We were definitely novices at using genie plus but we generally got the hang of it and would recommend it if you don't have a lot of time in the park. It saved us a lot of time we would have otherwise spent in ride queues. For that day it cost us $17 each plus tax but do keep in mind that the rates can vary.
We made our way around the world, enjoying the large variety of food and shops. It was a much more relaxing atmosphere than some of the other parks and we really enjoyed having a chilled day in the park.
The guardians of the galaxy ride was AMAZING and a must do if you enjoy rides. We did purchase a lightening lane to ensure we got to do the ride which cost us $14 each plus tax but was well worth it. Luckily we also got in the virtual queue quick enough and managed to grab a second ride!
Unfortunately, we did have to miss our ride on test track as we had a HUGE storm and all the outdoor rides closed. They even cancelled the fireworks much to our disappointment. The storm was the worst one we have experienced but was really great to watch!
