Have one of these in black. With the right optional extras it can stand out for example mine has factory tinted rear windows and a red dashboard which is really rare. Your able to get a lot of bhp out of these engines. Just a simple remap you can get an extra 30hp and 70nm. With the 110hp injectors and turbo you can get it near 150hp the same as an ST but with £30 road tax and around 50mpg.
dont forget to mention how torquey theyr are when mapped! near 300nm, pulls very nicely, much faster and smoother to drive than a petrol zs imo
@@JC-fn6gv yeah I believe it's 276nm with a map. I'm looking at getting mine mapped by HDI tuning to get it to 120hp. Heard it really helps add a bunch of low end power these engines suffer from. Just have to see with the ULEZ extension in October if I can keep my car then
@@zaink7037 did you manage to keep your fiesta dude??
@@shanepatrick641 nah I sadly had to sell it due to that stupid ULEZ zone extension. The new zone is only 2 miles from me and my workplace is just within the border so sadly wasn't cheap for me to drive to work having to pay £12.50 a day when I go there. Got a little Peugeot 107 now as I want something cheap to run like the fiesta. Hopefully next year might save up for a Porsche Cayman
love the tdci, more torque standard than an st, good mpg, maps well, and can easily change turbo and injectors for the 110bhp model amd reach near 150bhp like an st but heaps more torque
They are really amazing cars!
Used to have one of these ( 1.6 tdci ) and then moved to a Mk7 ST. I actually missed this car so much I might buy it back off the guy who I sold it to just to use the mk6 as a daily 😂. I just had so much confidence in it, and in the wet you're able to get the back to step out which I just don't have the confidence to do in the ST ( probably because of the price difference) handling wise these are really good, I expected the ST to be miles ahead of my mk6 but it wasn't a massive difference so if anyone's looking for one, I'm sure you'll love it 🙂 not to mention the amazing economy and really low tax.
Great review btw 👍
They are amazing little cars so easy and cheap to run and service, mines currently on 165,000miles and still going strong
@@mclaren_media9145 that's awesome. My old one is currently on 120k apparently. I'm still winning atm on ebay so fingers crossed I win it 😂
@@dylanhall509 good luck man ! Hope it’s still in good condition then!
Doesn't matter if the hand brake takes up all the space of its your favourite feature 👍
Can you review the the mk7 version of this from 2009/2010 zetec s tdci because no one reviews these they only review the petrol versions which as a 18 year old are too much to insure whereas the diesel is much more affordable
If i can get my hands on one i will
5:48. thats it. thats the comment.
Awesome video dude can you review the Tesla Model S P100D it’s my favourite car and I truly believe electric cars are the future what do you think?
Chris Wilson haha yeah if you can get me one to review I will 😂
It`s a MK5, the 5th Generation ran between 2002- 2008, anything fiesta between 1996-02 is a MK4 complete with facelift models for both.
1.6 litre diesel engine out of the mk1 focus. Doh!!
what i meant :P
Focus MK1 not 1.6 TDCi
1.8tdci
11sec 0-60 😂 not 9sec
its 9.9 seconds isn't it
@@kwmtb9320 that's the 1.6 petrol version 👍. The diesel is claimed 11.2 secs
@@zaink7037 ah ok
Prefer the petrol zetec s all day long to the TDCi.
whys that?
