Hey guys! So, I wanted to recreate the original Ifukube theme structure from the Heisei Era, while adding some of the other iterations of the classic theme and the chanting that is associated with Godzilla in this particular movie. You'll see this towards the end, and I added it in order to solidify the King of the Monsters vibe in this suite. Also, the roar I added to the video at the beginning is inspired by cerberus144's video of the classic Ifukube theme which had the original roar at the start.

I don't care what anyone says, if you're a lifelong Godzilla movie fan then this is by far the best movie out of the Monsterverse films. You can tell heart and soul went into it just by the soundtrack alone.

@abdulsabri6551 Godzilla movies were never about the human characters anyway, they were more like set ups for the monster fights, kind of like a wrestling match.
As a Godzilla fan for 34 years now, since I was 3 and have seen all movies, King of the Monsters is for me the best Godzilla movie. I don't know what problem people have with it. I liked Minus One, but I feel like the only reason it gets praised so much is because people want to hate the Hollywood movies and do so simply out of spite. As much as I love Godzilla, I don't understand how it won the Oscar for VFX. King of the Monsters has better VFX.

Just got back from Minus One, and that has THE best use of Ikufube's music since the original. If you're a G Fan and you wanna get some full on spinetingling goosebumps, go see it in a cinema. There's about 30 seconds that will make it worthwhile even if you don't love the movie.

I watched it last year and it was straight up magical, everyone was in awe and crying while I just stay there with my jaw digging through the earths core like his atomic breath in GvK

Even if snobs watch Minus One and nothing else, real fans know they’re both Godzilla, even if they might not like one or the other. The thing that brings the films together is the original music of Ikufube

No, most of them haven't seen the old movies. This film was as much fan service as Avengers Endgame, but the fan base in North America for Godzlla isn't nearly as large, and the conventions of the kaiju genre aren't as familiar to them.

I saw this movie with a friend who is a die-hard Godzilla fan, as soon as he heard the Akira Ifukube tune, I swear he was about to have a heart attack. It was hilarious. I had to stop him from getting up and screaming.

You are basically my three other friends who went to see the movie with me. We all watched it and I knew the most about Godzilla (including Mothra literally not knowing how to die). When this theme played I lost it, it was amazing and perfect. Also when Mothra died I almost started to laugh, just because I knew she wasn’t dead.

Yeah, she was great also. And they didn't do her justice at all. Just crushed by a big ice boulder if I'm not mistaken. At least Serizawa got a nobel, meaningful, and poetic death. Just a shame they killed off the only 2 good characters that they had though.

Had a really bad panic attack recently that felt borderline like a heart attack it was beating so fast and hurting. And eventually i hit a point where i told myself "what would godzilla do, godzilla doesn't take defeat and he always gets up no matter the challenge." It brought me to tears and i just heard this song playing in my head as i composed myself and came out of it. Even being fictional godzilla has real world effects, on me at least.

I really hate that “humanity is a plague and I have/am the cure” stuff. Apart from always being copied from matrix, it gets really annoying and that lady character was really irritating. The other human characters where good tho.
I quite like this, the work is an utter master piece, keep it up.
