In addition to the 1138, the PA Trolley Museum also completed restoration on ex-SEPTA snow sweeper #4. The car will be used in light non-revenue services. I sent a message regarding it last week, not sure if you received the comment or not.
EDIT: Also worth noting that 1138 has not seen revenue passengers since it was retired in the early 1960s.
I was happy that Arcade & Attica #18 had recetly steam again for a test fire i can't wait that 18 will return to service again!
I also had the opportunity of seen Canadian Pacific #2816 when it was on México city on June 7th!

2nd week of June 2024 has got epic: The Central New York chapter of the NRHS is making some refurbishments, L&NE observation car #100 gets progress, B&O C-207 caboose is soon to be renovated, N&W #518415 has a new paint job and more news. Wowza
I wonder where the Dierkes loco from Tulsa would run. The longest museum line in the state is only 3 miles long; though there are plenty of short lines that could be potential candidates
According to the association, the Tulsa Sapulpa Union Railroad is their main go-to at this time. They have some back up locations as well.
We are working on securing much more than 3 miles hopefully! Many great plans for 207 and the sooner state!

Forgot to mention that C&NW 1385 has had more appliances applied to the boiler, such as the safety valve and cab turret. Also, the rest of Union Pacific 4014 and Pere Marquette 1225s schedules should come out soon.

@@TranscontinentalRailfan thanks for the update in that post, I understand why you are doing it as it will probably make the video editing process easier. However, I do want to share one update about the Kansas Steam Heritage Association with the comments section that we saw a couple of weeks ago. Salina - The city in Kansas that houses Union Pacific 477, the locomotive KSHA wishes to restore to operation - indicated that they are interested in a cosmetic restoration of the engine, but don't plan on selling it. Essentially, KSHA hit a brick wall when trying to buy and restore the locomotive. KSHA has stated that they have been starting to look throughout the Midwest in order to restore a different locomotive just in case they don't find the support necessary in order to buy UP 477. Keep continuing to follow and support KSHA in order to bring steam railroading back into the state of Kansas!
Is 2816 still stopping at RRHMA for excursion trains? I heard it was cancel
The excursion trains powered by 2816 are cancelled. However, 2816 is still on track to visit the RRHMA shop complex in Silvis, IL for display.
