VERY impressive! I'm a very harsh critic with this particular aria! I pretty much don't like anyone on it but Marilyn Horne or Jennifer Larmore. But now I am glad to add Elisabeth Deshong to that small list! Perfect voice for the piece and extremely well executed!
Elizabeth was recently honored by the Selinsgrove High School Alumni Association and this clip was played in her absence. I was so impressed I had to watch this again! It was also nice to hear the words when not bouncing off of auditorium walls haha
Saw many good singing in this room and it never sounds good cause it is dry... Elisabeth was amazing in this aria, same level os Larmore (very impressive), but the audio is just to dry.

She should not be running out of breath on the most important parts. Taking breaths during the runs is not ideal.

don't be that harsh, she clearly can do the "revenge" phase properly, thing is that is live and she forgot to the a longer breath before.
