Too bad it's currently above freezing and raining 🤦♂️ I definitely jinxed it
Great 👌 another video about, how to do the right thing, the wrong way 😂👍 !
Curious as to what you see being done the wrong way?
I Appreciate all feedback, whether I agree or not 😉
@@mikesmechanix well Hose Clamps and Mechanic's wire are a fine 🤔 trailside fix or if you're using that Sled as a work machine, and you absolutely have to have it working, but honestly to fix that motor mount, you might have to use a grinder, a cut off wheel, or a reciprocating saw, to get the rest of the motor mount out of there, but you were on the right track, by drilling it through the mount, and using a nut and bolt 👍
Oh hahaha I see.. I just wired it to rip it around my yard for a minute..
I've got proper parts on order to fix her up correctly!
@@mikesmechanix Yeah that's all, when I said doing the right thing the wrong way, that's kinda what I was talking about 😂🤣, nothing wrong with that, and taking her out for a beat run is always fun, ain't nothing wrong with that, besides it doesn't look like that sled owes you anything anyway 👍🤣😂👍
Let's hope those motor mounts aren't going to be a pain
I had the same sled as your s lol same Mount was broken in the same side lol I mixed it with wire I From tires I burnt. And I sold the all my sled s. Buying more Harley Davidson s sleds my some more old ones
Take the nut off the motor mount, cut the stud off flush, drill a 3/8" hole through the rubber Motor mount, and just use a bolt and a nut, use a nylon locking nut underneath where the motor mount is attached to the frame, should be just enough room to get a 🔧 wrench in there👍👌
That was my original plan, the rubber was a little too deteriorated, I'll show it a bit better in the fix video (if my parts ever show up 😂)
@@mikesmechanix well really obviously a new motor mount is the best fix, but even a chunk out of an old hockey puck drill it through and a nut and bolt will do 🤔
I have a sled with the same issue of missing Clutch slide shoe, have you found how to fix it. 84 SKI DOO Safari 277
I actually picked the parts up to fix that today! I'll have a video out soon !
I see you're up there in B/C 🇨🇦, Check out,
RN/DH or Red Neck's Dirty Hand's, He's also up there in Canada, he has a great You Tube Channel and is Very Knowledgeable with Snowmobiles !
