I took this challenge head on and attempted both A fallow and red deer great one on Te Awaroa. I pulled the Fallow at lvl 36 and the red at lvl 49. Super fun grind challenge ❤

I'm excited for this series! I actually just got my 2nd great one fallow on ec yesterday after 1k kills! My shortest grind of all 6 G1's lol... It was a silver Irish elk rack! A huge improvement over my golden spoon... Shot him in the through the butt with the 44 lever!

Got my first great one. Moose with a split rack. Level 35 with under 600 harvests recorded. And I didn’t even strictly hunt the moose.
Should I shoot my solo zones for fallow? And my duo +quad zones?
Will you redo Te avaroa story mission? It was so cool and the moose variant is amaizing

Question-do you need to leave a buck at each zone so you do not delete it?
are diamond ferrel goats hard to get, I just found one on my te awora so im wondering if there are rarer than other diamonds.
Also do you think that claiming animals effect what spawns because I just shoot and leave the deer and have shot very many with differnt species and got no great ones
If I restart will it delete my saved harvest's and my taxidermy?
I have a huddle whitetail mount with three diamonds but it somehow duplicated so now i have 2 of the exact same one so what should I do
Question on drink zones. I examine the foot prints, one set shows 7 deer. the other set shows 5 deer at the same spot, Do I count this as one zone of 12 deer Or is this 2 zones adding to my drink zone total?

I’ve been playing COTW for about a year now, on and off. I’m really looking to find rates and hopefully a Great One. I find that I’m super confused on what to shoot and what not to shoot in order for that to happen. Could someone explain to me how zones work and what level of what I’m gridding for needs to be shot? Just a rundown pretty much! That would be greatly appreciated!

just yesterday i decided to take down my red deer and switch back to my fallow grind, and 47 kills and 2 diamonds later i got GO #5
My second go fallow grind has been brutal I got my first one at 631 kills and I’m over 3k into this second grind I’ve had 30 dimes 6 rares 15 trolls and nothing yet I’m still hoping for a super rare too
I want to hit new game for me but I don’t want to lose my stats in the game and I also wish you could reset certain maps not the whole game because my revontuli whitetail are terrible there is only around 5 males total and I don’t want to reset my whole game

hey crow, I just hit 5,500 kills on my GO whitetail grind, non HM. Do you think I should stop shooting level 1s and stack 3s? Thanks!
That depends on if you want to start Hm or not. My first GO took 11k kills and then haven’t gone over 1k in the last 3 WT grinds. Either way, GOs are RNG. So any male can spawn a GO.

Hardcore mode should be getting a GO in multiplayer before 60. That would be a challenge

I killed a 7 mountain lion that was either grey or albino, I was collecting other animals that I got before getting it, I was on a multiplayer server that was my map, I was then kicked and wasn't able to get the lion, what happened to it??
Shot a lvl 9 leg and hit no vital shot its a Diamond 29.30 side striped jacal😢its rating now is gold
