However, I had to notice that fingerings/fret suggestions in the tab version are completely off in the first example, the Country Blues bass line. Jumps from third to ninth fret and back in one line (bars 42/43) are absolutely senseless and might confuse some not so experienced players. I suggest you’d better check that again. Otherwise, fantastic stuff, and really great work!

Great video Greg! Lot's of great information to get started and it's really nice how you started simply and dialed up the complexity (not complex, but more interesting) bass lines. Such good stuff for us to work and develop our own voice in walking bass.

Good suggestion, I'll do that in future. On the second page of the PDF I have put the 12-bar chord sequence which is a good idea to learn, then you always know where you are during the walking bass line. This will hopefully help you.

Another great lesson, thank you. I can play the easy root, third, 5th notes in 12 bars.......i can now have a go at a bit more improvisation.
