I teach kindergarten and I use the Beatles to teach reading. Every 5 year old I know knows more Beatle trivia than most 60 year olds! Kids today LOVE their music. It’s the best thing ever to watch a class of kindergarteners singing and taping their foot to Martha My Dear while doing their work!

Any kid that is raised on the Beatles music is considered great parenting in my book. Loving Kate Bush as well is definitely a plus!
I have a memory of watching the Beatles on Ed Sullivan in 1964. I was 4 years old. I grew up with them - they are the soundtrack of my childhood. I can remember what it was like to hear a new Beatles song for the first time. No one was better, no one else had their magic.
Yep, those were the days, and people now how no idea what it was like and the extreme excitement that was felt by everyone. I sort of knew that we were experiencing something special and unique, not to be repeated, and this has proven true.

If it helps, I'm in my early twenties and I remeber being obsessed with the Beatles and Paul McCartney. I still look back on the Hard Days Night movie fondly.
