Sweeet hell yeah! Can’t wait to install mine!
U got one ? That’s fire !
Dude I love the lights ! 🤩
MEE TOO !! 🔥🔥
Nice job on this. Gets me some good ideas
Sweeeeeet thank you sir !! I’m happy I could help out 🤙
Great job brother. Those lights turned out sick!! Good job with the grommet as well. You just got to man handle that thing lol. Cant wait to see the chase lights as well. Look forward to the next video as well.
Thanks Tony !! Lol yeah that grommets is a pain in the ass 😂 chase light comin soon I’m campin this weekend so that’s next weeks vid !
@Downtimelost heck ya!! Dang man I wish I could get out as much as you. Hope you had an amazing weekend out. I look forward to the next video!!
Interesting install. Was looking for a way to go through the firewall on the passenger side. Good timing!
Lol happy I could help ! 😂
If you pull your carpet back on the driver side,There is a plastic plug on the floor board you can drill out and run wire to the engine bay.Just for the 411.I did a Aux beam power module with no problems.
Good to know ! I’ll look into it !
@@DowntimelostForgot to say I have the 2023 Colorado LT.
83! The LED cargo lamps. Thanks so much!
Thank you ! 🤘
Isn’t that a constant on?
Was not aware of this, thanks! Just want to add fog and bed lights to my Trail Boss using the GM accessory box, but it's expensive. If you look straight back from your Lasfit setup to the firewall, you can see two studs that GM uses for their accessory box mount. I believe they're on every truck regardless of whether they come with that kit. There may also be a grommet right there, can't look at my truck at the moment.
Ahhhh I was tryin to mount the box on there 😂😂
Dope im gunna order mines now !! 🔥 also how did you mount your rock lights ?
Hell yeah ! 🤘 I just used 3m double side sticky tape lol
Are you considering any of the new lift kits that have comeout by RC, the 4 inch or 6inch? They look pretty nice on the site
Not really I’m just waiting on @peaksuspention coilovers with resis with upgraded uca’s ! They should be out by the end of the year! I just don’t like the cross member drop stuff in my opinion it just defeats the purpose of a lift , but to each there own. It looks nice just not my cup of tea
Quick question! I just got my Lasfit pods for my 2023 Z71. I added the accessory power box at the dealership but have no idea how to connect the pods to that Aux lever next to the lane assist lever. I would appreciate any feedback!
I’m not sure about that one either brother ! Not much info in it , I wish u luck !
Planning on doing this with the SP9100. Thinking of using a magnetic ball mount on the dash somehow. Shits expensive though 😅
Switch pros EXPENSIVE! Lasfit just as good way cheaper and I got u a discount code ;)
@@Downtimelost I just like that Switch Prism has the fuses built in and is essentially water tight. Just patiently waiting until I have the funds 🙃. Enjoy your videos though bro!
@@Mi4mi_joe I feel ya , I appreciate it brother 🤘
did you see that rough country finally came out with 4 and 6 inch lift kits ?
Yeah I saw that ! I’m
Just got a fan of off the cross member drop stuff it defeats the purpose of a lift and I don’t need nothin crazy big once u get to tall with I’ll my overland goodies it get tipsy lol hoping to long travel In the future 👍
I have never done this type of thing before so forgive me for asking a dumb question, but what product do you use to tap the fuse?
No dumb question here ! The kit comes with a fuse tap! Simple plug and play with one crimp 👍
How hard was it to pull that rubber grommet and snack your wire in the side? I'm thinking of doing something similar. Is fuse 87 always hot? Or is it ignition based?
It’s a pain in the ass lol and yes 87 is always hot but with the lasfit switch panel u can turn it off so it don’t drain ur battery 👍
@@Downtimelost any tips on getting through the grommet? I'm having a hard time
how much was it vs the one that chevy has for the colorado and you do not need to have anything into the fuses or wires to the battery there is a connection for gm's version
GMs is like 600 for 4 switched lasfit is 180 for 8 switches !
What a hack job of an install.
Lol it works engine bay not full of wires 👍
Curtis Schimmoller dang! I hooked up to 83, the LED cargo lamp, and my lights turned on. I walked away for more than half an hour with the truck locked, lights were still on. Are you sure this fuse is switched?
Oh yeah it will stay on if you don’t use the lasfit switch panel cuz the lasfit one turns off
Hmm. So why was it hard to find a fuse to tap in the fuse box for you then? You found a constant power fuse, which all of them are.
@@kevinbreault39 it wasn’t that hard I was being a baby lol
@@Downtimelost hmm, well now i know there must not be any switched fuses in the engine bay, im interested to know how you got through that grommet. Ive tried and it aint easy!
@@kevinbreault39he went around it from what it looks like in the video. He separated it and went through the side
Did you get the 430torque calibration? I did and payed 395,,,, I also payed for the labor,,,but someone on You Tube said I wasn’t suppose to pay for the labor cause it was included in the price of my truck,,,can you please tell me if this is true,, if so I’m bringing my receipt and telling them to give me that money back, also if it’s true who should I talk too at GM? The total price was over 600 dollars! Also, I don’t feel a huge difference ,is their anyway I can go to another dealer and verify they DID calibrate it to the HO calibration!
I did not but thinking about it , dose it realy not feel any different? That’s kinda shitty, u should probably just ask some others what they had to pay cuz that’s messed up :/
0:33 - 6 gang switch -proceeds to hold an 8 gang without realizing- you were to excited weren't you?!
Lol yes sir I was very excited 😂😂😂
Does anyone know how to wire a lightbar to the AUX switch built in to the front console?
I tried to look in the fuse Box but I’m
Not sure the plug might be behind the switch
That switch is a switched ground. In the passenger rocker there should be a black and white wire capped off that goes to that. You will need a relay and to wire that relay using that ground as a switch
does it have the stock exhaust?
Nope ! I have the magnaflow overland series Exhust !
@@Downtimelost sounds great! I like how quiet the truck is while cruising, but would like more grunt when accelerating.
Would you say this Magnaflow is quiet while in the highway too?
@@zeethru oh yeah you can hear it a bit on the hwy but nothing crazy !
Why didn’t you just use the factory aux switch
Cuz I have multiple lights now , I need more than one switch
