A wyvern has only 2 legs, with its arms /wings acting as it's front legs. A dragons wings aren't connected to its wings, dragons have 4 individual legs with wings on their back

fun fact: if they had 10.000 health and were allowed to damage from one position the poison wyvern would win, its damage is low but its attack speed isnt. you should have tryed more stuff

Wyvern's ai makes them rely on their breath, so if someone rode the ice wyvern they could just slow down the opponent and then use melee, while the opponents cant escape and ice boi gets free hits.

Practically speaking, the poison wyvern is the best since you can pick off prey from afar with precision, the fire wyvern has to be in quite close quarters to use its attack opening itself to damage and the lightning wyvern may to the most damage but following fast targets with your lightning beam ranges from hard to impossible at times and lacks a secondary effect (e.g. Inflamed/poisoned)
All in all, the poison wyvern is like the griffin, overpowered in the right hands but pathetic when controlled by Ark's own AI

Yes, when I was doing some testing with my mates, I had one of them use the lightning beam on me (base player and wyvern stats) and I was knocked out about 75% of the way through the attack.

Oh ok, I'm having issues testing it tbh, being on single player and all, I couldn't knock anything out tho (I just used infinitestats and blasted everything I could find) probably doesn't help that Sparky is high level in retrospect.
But Regardless I still prefer the poison wyvern for its long range versatility, also it just looks cold tbh

I killed a level 60 wyvern with my argy (with the TLC) it was a level 156 and dealt 120 damage.what was really weird was that it spawned west! It was no were near the wyvern trench... btw it was were the thyla’s live (in the desert.) it was just standing there. I flue away and then a lighting beam just shot at me... I new I coudn’t run so I fought. It nearly made my argy unconscious. I was winded so I flue down the the ground then continued to attack me after taking the shots I attacked and then finally killed it!

The lightning is the best fighter then the fire but the fire is better at getting milk and then the poison. So try get a fire first, then lightning, then feed titan boa poison eggs. :)

they do all got there own purposes for sure. like the poison although not that strong against creatures crushes humans even off saddles.
and the lightning can shoot backwards and hits like a fucking truck. i bet ive killed 30 gigas and 30 titanos with mine solo. 2k stam 400s attack still going up.
fire? he can be anti personel. works kinda like a shotgun.
and ice despite being pretty weak is actually useful to slow big enemies like giga and titano at least if the riders a pro cause you gotta be close to hit things just like fire.
but i will say if i didnt have a lightning wyv i wouldnt feel nearly as safe as i do lool. he crushes HP almost as fast as a strong giga. not quite but close.
