Growing up in Kenya back in the day, South African house would always play on Channel O (who remembers Channel O?! - Felling old) Back then it mostly had no lyrics, like most house music, still made for nice background music. Its really interesting to me to see it evolve upto Amapiano levels. South Africans are really creative. Africans in general tbh. Im glad we doin our thing and not looking to the west.
