This fight proved TJ is one of the toughest out there and the Cejudo fight was indeed an early stoppage, but him taking this fight with an injury was a dck move
When Aljo creates back exposure and is able to control you from that position....he is damn near unstoppable. He shoots for takedowns, but he doesn't really want to get you down. He wants to create a scramble and get back exposure.
He wants to hump your back until he wins. That’s just the truth, he’s up there with champion izzy and belal with the most safe fight styles
I don’t think people realize how painful a shoulder dislocation is. With that being said Tj is an absolute beast for trying to fight through that. Kill or be killed is something a lot of fighters say but don’t really mean. Tj is one of the few who actually does it.
TJ is a PED user that went into that fight with a built in excuse if he lost. He went there for the check.. not to win and there’s nothing wrong with that.
