I've noticed this company's titles a few times at Amazon Italy but have not yet ordered anything. Fingers crossed that they bring out solid transfers...
I have been told by a few people that these editions have higher bitrates which is a great thing to hear. Like you said fingers crossed the transfers look good.

i‘ll be waiting this one out… i know the US steelbook has an atmos-track… and i want to hear it… so this release is not for me… but there will be a release in germany soon… i hope they bring over the atmos track… as far as the 4kult label is concerned… if they keep omitting existing atmos, dtsx or even 7.1 mixes… i am not buying… they also did that on cliffhanger… so i got the US sony disc in return which is the best choice…
Yeah I also mention that in the video as well the fact that we did not get an Atmos soundtrack on this release even though there is one out there over in the States. So that was a bit of a Down inside to this release. I haven't checked out any of their other releases so I can't really comment on that issue. But I completely understand where you're coming from. Like you said when studio canal released Cliffhanger over here we didn't receive a Dolby Atmos and then Sony released it over in the States and it came with it Dolby Atmos soundtrack. Sometimes it really doesn't make much sense.
Rambo (1st one), Cliffhanger and Total Recall from 4Kult all have the best 4K picture quality available...but beware some of their 4K discs are region locked. I have all 3 as well as 'Apocalypse Now' (theatrical release, also has the best video compression of any release and also some glitches are fixed on the disc that appear on the other 4K releases), 'Il Conformista' and '1917' (has HDR but not HDR10+ like other releases). Also, be aware, the 4K Rambo films are being remastered by someone and will get a new boxset this year or next.
The only problem I have with that label is you have to take a downgrade on audio. Cliffhanger comes with a Dolby Atmos soundtrack if you buy from the States. But it is great to hear that they look good so I will definitely keep that in mind. The whole region thing doesn't bother me because I live in Ireland so I'm okay. I actually have the complete Rambo 4K Steelbook collection so I don't think I'll be buying any more editions of those movies

I have a soft spot for slipcovers so love the 4Kult range. I hear ya' regarding the Rambos...luckily I currently only have First Blood in my collection so will be looking to add any future remastered set. Love a bit of Rambo!!
@blurayffan66 I am just like yourself I am a big fan of slip covers particularly ones like these. I actually got another one from them a few months back for dredd but unfortunately the audio got a downgrade on that one aswell. But it's a minor nitpick to what are beautiful editions

Yeah keith 4kult movies are suppose to run at a slighter better bit rate than some other region blu rays?? I got the dirty dancing one a few weeks ago, probly the best it will look, due to original master? Cheaper than the US steelbook which is hard to find on import at a decent price!! Another good video buddy!!!
That's actually very good to hear about the bit rate. Did not know that. I'm not looking for a 4K showcase with Dirty Dancing but I am looking for something substantial over the last Blu-ray release and fingers crossed this will be it.
The transfer i think is a 4k DI? I might be wrong? Picture quality is the best this movie has ever looked in my opinion. Only thing the Italian release is not atmos like the US version i believe? I enjoyed this version 3 disc and a fair price.

Artwork is very nice and have been eyeing up the steelbook from America with the same artwork but a bit pricey, shame to hear yours got lost especially as it also contained the amazing steelbook for Terrifier also. It wasn't just Dirty Dancing and terrifier that I lost. There was also deluxe editions of Prince of Darkness and they live. I'm nearly sure it worked out to nearly €200 worth of items. Absolutely devastated and nobody's taking the blame for it either. Ben is trying everything over the States to get this sorted for me. Hopefully I will get my money back.

No your spot on it has a 4K Di and yes the American edition had Dolby Atmos which is a shame that this didn't have it.
