I use linear colormapping with default multipliers, save multilayer exr for the best comping. work in 32 bit in nuke or aftereffects. the exposure controls in 32 bit workflow is awesome but requiers alot of data storage.
I have experimented with main brute force , second brute force with fairly great results. but mostly using brute lightcache combo
one of the best channels for 3d visualization on CZcams hands down

Can we have a video of Corona Render Settings explained. As this one.
what setting do you use for color mapping the exterior scene, currently doing the exterior scene but it's too bright(reinhard), and the render is really slow so I cant experiment a lot? also I ma using brute force because I have lots of details in the scene. what do you recommend?

Is there a way to render a single material higher quality than the rest of the scene? in the past we could control samples per material. Is there a way in newer vrays as well?

Hello, thank you for the video. There's just something I want to ask regarding the Noise Threshold value. I adjust that to reduce or eliminate the noise and grains that you can see when viewing the image's VrayReflection in the Frame Buffer but at the cost of slower render time... Is there another way to reduce the noise in the reflection? I used to get smoother images when I adjust the Reflection Subdivs of a VrayMatl, but that's gone in V-Ray 5...

Hi Aga.....I am having problems with Gamma Correction in Vray 5 for 3dsmax......the Vray frame buffer image and the output image saved as Jpeg are not same...how can we resolve this issue.... look forward to hearing from you

Now a days, Vray is just lights, camera, render! Without tweaking much you can achieve great lighting render using Vray GPU RT because GPU hardware such as nvidia RTX are much available.

What are the problems in lightmix if we use IR as primary gi ?
Full Light Select render elements are not supported by the IR and they are the foundation of Light Mix. Just forget about IR, it was good 15 years ago but now there is no need to use it.

This is the reason why I use Lumion, Vray is very overwhelming with the things that you could adjust.

Did they abolishe from materials and lights the subdivs in sampling? How we can control those in vray 5?? Any tips??
Subdivs for lights and materials are a thing of the past
So it's something that I don't have to worry any more??? I suppose that everything is on the highest level and I tweek only the render settings??
@@victoriapetsagkouraki2370 The best way is to do a test, but the samples are now controlled only by Image sampling and buckets min max and noise, that's it. Use Brut force and Light Ch.
I know this is out of topic, but can you help me? I have both Corona and Vray in my 3ds max but when I imported a 3d model that uses vray materials and rendered it on corona, it gives me an error with red glowing unsupported all over the 3d model.
you need to convert them to Corona materials. Use the built in Corona converter
@@VR6DAMIT thanks. though its slightly time consuming considering some of the youtubers ive watched rendering in corona with vray material objects didnt do it and just render it straight away.
@@BOPISbewitya Converting the scene literally takes seconds. Tweaking materials that haven't quite converted properly can take a bit of time though. You must have an older version of Corona because from 2018 (Corona 2) onwards it has support for Vray materials ,which is why people with more current versions of Corona can just render those materials

Vray 5 is much slower than Vray Next(IM+LC), lots of setting are removed and image quality and rendering time is unpredictable.

its hard to subscribe to a channel when i feel its not really connected to the community, they dont even reply to questions, its one sided.
Now VRay is just about materials, lighting and composition. Dont need to change anything in render settings to render great images.

I was a vray user....from previous month...I stop using vray...I start using lumion...If I compare Vray and lumion I think vray is just a bullshit
Lumion is not a tool for 3d artists. Lumion is made for beginers and architects.
I think very soon vray will lost their maximum user and popularity.because vray needs huge time..where lumion gives an instant render output and also animaton...
Lumion = no quality and control.

Render settings not going to help you for realistic render. Its depends upon good modelling texturing and lighting.
@@viveknayak6580 there are tons of pre made models and textures and materials out there , realistic doesnt mean a lot of lights it means real bi*ch it means full simulation , every one knows more powerfull hardware and highest setting are the key to the realism dont try to hide it from others , it does nothing with art ....

I bought your archiviz course, and with all due respect, but for what the course costs, the knowledge you transmit is very poor. On youtube you can collect and find the same content, I thought I was paying for something that was not taught here, I was disappointed.
