@@trinasoxs1992 Hi Trina, I’m also extremely sensitive to sounds and vibration from loud bass. I have had to wear headphones/ear buds sometimes. There are also noise canceling ear plugs like musicians wear to protect their hearing while still being able to hear sound as needed. I try to avoid loud places as much as possible, or I end up covering my ears in despair. Lol. Hope you find a solution.
I got 27 out of 30 😬. Life as an HSP can be so challenging, I never understood why I felt different my whole life, and why everything seemed to be a little harder or more intense for me than anyone else. I can say that today I'm proud to be sensitive, I am no longer trying to "toughen up" being sensitive is a part of me and it makes me a better person. A person who cares about others, who can empathize, sympathize, and make anyone feel comfortable or heard. When I stopped looking at my sensitivity as a negative that I needed to change, it became my greatest asset. 🥰
I wish that as an adult I could move to another country where people like me could be accepted and appreciated. Unfortunately as a teen I feel offended and hurt most of the time by my classmates and if I try to talk about It then I am too sensitive and I need to change. That also comes from my mother, unfortunately I do not have a great childhood nor teenagehood. I just wish people respected me more. I have to pretend in front of my classmates that everything 's fine when It's not.
@@francescabuonanno2333 I also pretended in front if people, far before I knew I was Highly Sensitive. And that closeness made me discover anxiety. I need to feel in a very close environment to open myself without being judged.
@@francescabuonanno2333Hi, nice to comment this with you. Have you learned some tipos to deal with anxiety? In my case it has really help me going to Therapy.
I got 26 out of 30. Being Highly Sensitive, and Empath, and an INFJ has explained a lot about my childhood, my past addictions, and my current lifestyle.
Hello my twin LOL! I also got 26 out of 30 on the HSP test, am an empath, and INFJ-T. For me, an old friend told me to take the MBTI test about 10 years ago and it helped me so much. I realized I am different, not "weird" and helped me accept myself too. Everyday has its own challenges but it is so much better to understand ourselves than to stay in the dark
I'm an INFJ and HSP. It's so very involuntary. People don't understand that you may voluntarily like something, but that it makes you sick or runs you down against your will. I stopped playing video games after they went from side scrolling to multi directional. My husband bought a game recently for us to play together and it's a lot of fun but I can't play more than an hour at a time. He was shocked when I explained to him that it isn't because I'm not that into it, like he thought, or don't like playing games, but that all that light and sound and movement take a toll on me even if I would like to keep playing.
I had around 20. When I was younger and even now, my siblings tell me that I am too sensitive. That I need to grow a thick skin. I like me the way I am. I am more aware of my surroundings and the feelings of others. It makes me more compassionate I think.
After years of feeling misunderstood about how most things make me tear up, how little things can offend me, I've been doing research about what are hsp and came across this test I relate 100%, I've always been told to toughen up and not to take everything so personal, this made me understand myself so much more. Glad to know I'm not the only one in this journey!
You're definitely not the only one Paulina, so happy this video helped you to learn more about yourself! Feel free to watch my other videos on the HSP playlist to learn more. Have a great day!
My score was 27. As I was listening my eyes were widening and I was thinking “Yes, that’s me!”. I’m an INFJ on the Myers Briggs scale. I had to laugh about noticing the corrections needed on the paperwork, I’m such a grammar nazi ☺️
Listening to this I also thought that there had to be a connection with MBTI... I'm a INFJ as well and I think that's a type that totally fit the HSP description!
I got a 30/30 but also i cry a lot, i take things personally. Even if someone is very uncomfortable with me around i feel the need to leave them alone. When someone yells at me or calls me something that isn’t nice i get so frustrated that i want to cry. Im going to high school soon and i am very scared on how much I’m going to be able to take👀
Wow, really enlightening! My sister always thought I was being dramatic when getting my hair brushed because I was so sensitive. Now I let my hairdresser know before they get to work that I have a really sensitive head and they don't need to scrub hard or pull. So nice to embrace our uniqueness!
Hey there Esme. Thanks for reaching out. I talk about how I deal with emotions in this video: czcams.com/video/BRvxjQl41Pg/video.html Hope it will help you out! 🤗
Ahh, the one I reacted most to was “you often wonder how others can be so insensitive to stuff that completely throws you off” (or something), that one is SO TRUE! If I see something in nature that catches my eye, be it a tiny flower or a majestic tree, I can be absolutely absorbed in its beauty and could probably study it for hours. I’ll feel so much and feel the urge to make sounds (does *anyone* relate to this??? Like just high-pitched sounds coming out of you or something because you FEEL SO MUCH? No...? Okay...) - and others don’t even notice, or notice for a few seconds and then go on with whatever. Gosh, I don’t think I’ve ever experienced hanging around someone who acts like me in such moments... I’m also wondering: how do you feel about curled up bed sheets, for example? I can not freaking sleep if my bed sheets aren’t straightened out. I got 20 of these, and was unsure about the rest/overanalyzed the possible situations in which those things could occur. Still doubt being an HSP though, probably because I’ve heard other speak of high sensitivity as something “really cool”, almost. And the way I view and relate to high sensitivity, it’s not particularly “really cool”...? Or at least definitely not as the main thing about it. I don’t know. But I really do value my intense feelings, thoughts and instincts. They’re worth the need to cover my ears from loud sounds (ugh...) and instantly smelling stuff, good or bad. The highly sensitive world is interesting.
Thanks for sharing your experiences Idek ugh. If you want to learn more about HSP, and see for yourself if you think you are highly sensitive too, then I can recommend watching my HSP video series. There are 4 videos where I talk more about it. You can find them here: czcams.com/play/PLpDAC25h6PC8v5bhadp2pKQrK_0e4sd55.html
I can relate about the sheets being curled thing. My husband calls me the princess of the princess and the pea story. I notice sounds, scents, and the small things in my environment, especially outside. I experience God when I notice and appreciate the beauty of things around me in nature. The clouds on a sunny summer day are one of my favorites!
I like to make various unrecognizable sounds if I see something interesting or to convey my emotions. It is funny + sometimes easier than putting everything in the words.
A friend mentioned I was likely an empath and a switch turned on. I literally just realized I was an HSP last week. Not sure how I feel about it, but I’m easing my way into this new insight and its implications for me. You are so lovely and calming to watch.
Thank you Kelli 😊 I can imagine it would be a big light switch! If you want to learn more about being highly sensitive, you might like my HSP video series: czcams.com/video/ORuk-nvz1nE/video.html Have a wonderful day! 😄🌿
THis is a great list. Sensitivity has been a subject for me for 30 years. I switched frome being in academia, to being a home-based artist because of it. It would be nice to have a community of people who are aware of and honor this trait!
Yes please do more videos. I am highly sensitive and the two biggest problems I have are the need for alonetime (without anyone getting hurt) and how to funktion in social events with people I don't know. Hope you make more about this, because a lot of people don't know about it.
Thanks Heidi, these are great topics. For now I can say to just talk with people about it and explain that it's nothing personal, that you just need to be alone to recharge and take care. And to never feel guilty about it, there's no need for anything like that! 🌹🤗 xo Vera
Saying thinks without anyone getting hurt. I really feel we need a manual to learn how to do this. It's such a difficult task for us. Who else is with me?✋🏻
Mostly correct. I drink coffee in the morning, I don't notice when people change things around in their home, I'm not clumsy, I definitely don't watch sad movies because the emotions haunt me for days!
@@lauriecampbell1378 I sleep a lot too even though I come from a country that's known not to sleep for too long. I also am not clumsy and don't watch sad or horror movies. I think me and you are a lot alike :D
Hi there 🙂 When I asked my friend who was a buddhist monk to name 3 positives about me, he said that I was very sensitive. I was confused about how that could be a good thing? Can't wait to see your series on this !
I identify as an HSP. However, the intensity comes and goes depending on my eating habits. When I don't eat clean, I'm a basket case being ultra hypersensitive and all over the place. When I eat clean I am more in command and in control of myself, and handle things that come up like a Boss. Unfortunately, I haven't mastered being consistent basis with my eating habits. I plan for 2020 to focus on consistency. I prefer feeling on top of my game, than a basket case that gets trod on.
I’m proud of being an HSP, I truly think they can impact humanity. #17 was awfully accurate 😂 I remember only watching 50 minutes of a horror movie and being terrified for days.
i have 19. I am so thankful that i could find someone with similar number that could say this so confidently. As i struggle with self loathing, the first thing that came to my mind was that "i am not HSP because my score isn't high enough". it makes a huge difference to see someone so confident about being HSP even if they dont relate to all of the "sign". I hope i can get there one day.
I'm not very intuitive about people or notice things in my surroundings, but other points ring true. Even when it's cloudy outside, I still have to wear sunglasses unless it's heavily gray and overcast. I can't wear perfumes or strong smelling lotions because they give me a headache. And funny enough, even really happy or exciting things on TV affect me. Like I'll tear up seeing a sports team pull off a an impossible last second win, even though I'm not generally invested in sports. Just seeing the crowd cheer and the players jumping for joy gets to me.
I match between 26-30, depending on the particular factors of the situations... Also, I took the Myers-Briggs personality quiz and was found to have the INFP personality. I wonder if that’s common among HSP... 🤷♀️ Thank you for this and ALL of your videos!!! ❤️💐🌷
You're so welcome, thanks for sharing your score! When it comes to personality types, about 30% of HSPs are extraverts and so, introverts are more common but there are also thrill seeking people with very extraverted personality types. Alanis Morissette is a good example. :) I'm an ENFJ but I do consider myself to be an introvert, which turns out is also possible with that personality type. So we come in all shapes and sizes haha.
Oh my gosh I knew I might be HSP but wasn’t very sure. I got 23/30 and I could relate so much with most of these and I was constantly nodding saying “Omg yes, exactly! That’s me!” No wonder how I feel about so many things was different from everyone else! I’m encouraged to learn more about HSP now! :)
Being highly sensitive has been hard for me since the very beginning. I still didn't find out how to control it and accept it. I understood it a long time ago with my therapist and since then I constantly try to make people understand why I cry all the time, why I am hyped for everything, why I can go from euphoria to anger or sadness, why I don't like going parties and why an insult, a remark or a tone of voice can make me change my mood. I've always been called "Too much", "Too sensitive", "Over reacting" or "Drama Queen". For most people this part of me is a problem. And so I started to think that maybe it could be, I feel ashamed about it for a while... Even my partner keeps telling me I am annoying for being "too much". When I cry but people think "it's not a big deal" then I am a cry baby, when I can not stay in a crowded place with music I am boring, when I pass out because I slightly cutted myself it's ridiculous, if the sun is burning my eyes it's because I don't go out enough etc. People always found excuses to not just be understanding with me. I tried to change actually but the truth is that I am born this way.
I’m so glad I just found your videos. I always knew I was sensitive ( I can’t even touch caffeine, can’t handle medications and most of the other things on this list!), but it’s become so much more vital to manage after having kids bc of overstimulation, etc (and difficult bc it’s hard to find alone time)
That's me too...but for a huge part of my life and still sometimes I feel like it's a problem and I'm not apt to the world....I'm working on it...thanks for your enthusiasm and calm about it
Thanks sulpicia tintajoel, how many did you recognize? I understand how you feel, it can be challenging sometimes as the world can seem like a tough place.. Just remember you have your own unique gifts and talents that are worth celebrating! Xo Vera
It's the first time I hear these things exist in others too.I always blamed my self for being the way I am.and I thought there is sth wrong with me.I have always tried to change my self . from inside it was really hard .more than 90%of things you said match me.now I know there is nothing wrong with me.I will read the book and now I don't want to change myself anymore 😭☺️ Thank you a million times 🙏🙏
You're very welcome, every time I read a story like this I'm so happy that I made this video. We all deserve to know about our sensitive trait and feel good about it. It offers us many great things too. :) I'm happy to read you're going to read the book. I'm actually reading it now for the third time and it's always so reassuring. Take care my friend! :)
28/30. i've known for a while that i am a highly sensitive person, i'm very blessed that many people in my family are also highly sensitive people. it can suck sometimes, but there are so many gifts and treasures that are unique to highly sensitive people that i feel grateful for it.
I scored 29 lmao. And that connection to nature it's so incredible. When I'm in the ocean or the forest I feel like all my senses are heightened. Animals are drawn to me it's amazing.
I never knew there was such a thing of HSP. I’m definitely in the 10-15%. At least 20 if not more resonates with me 😊. I’m happy to have this knowledge and understanding. To know I’m rare and it’s a gift. Thank you Vera!
Oh my goodness. All the points. I have been diagnosed as a sensitive person at the age of 25. I always felt different from everybody else. But I love being like this. This video touched me so much and so deeply. Thank you Vera 🤗🤗🤗🤗. Don't feel so different any more 😍.
I am 23/30 and know I am highly sensitive. I would love more videos on this topic. I have always been the peacemaker of the group and your childhood topics reminded me of mine. I love my career but when I come home I need total calm. Thank you Vera!
I didn't count, but I do have most of these. I may notice certain things, like typos and grammar errors, but unless it's in a professional or educational setting I won't say anything. I've learned over the years to be forgiving and to pick my battles. Also, I do notice small changes in a person's home. In fact, unless I do the changing myself, change really bothers me. However, in addition to forgiveness I've learned to be more open to change and to deal with the anxiety that inevitably occurs when change does happen. I'm currently reorganizing my living space, and it's an extremely overwhelming process. All I can think is "why do I even have to do this?". I finally caved in and asked a couple of friends for help. I cannot seem to deal with too much stimuli on my own and am learning that it's okay to ask for help when you're feeling overwhelmed. Final note (sorry this is kinda long): while I be a highly sensitive person i try not to let it define me too much. I am so much more than that. Being a HSP is part of me, but it isn't all of me. Love to all of you ❤
I loved reading your comment, thanks for sharing! I agree about not letting being HSP define you. Though we share this sensitive trait, we're all unique. And I love how you asked friends to help you out! Keep going, you're doing awesome! If you want, check out my Decluttering & Home playlist, there might be something helpful in there for you. Have a great week!
I got 27, oh wow! Didn’t even know this was a thing, just always thought I was wired. Now I need to study more about this and take time to look after myself. Thanks for sharing. God Bless You!
Thanks Aleahcim, I'm glad my video helped you to find out! Check out my HSP playlist if you want to know more about it and find tips. Have a beautiful day!
I have all the 30,I was listening to you with my mouth open she is talking exactly about me it means alot when you spend a lifetime trying to explain to others around your how you feel and no one understand it is so painful
Im not so empathic or kind but I can not sleep well in some beddings, have heart pain and insomnia from coffee, my eyes cry in stressful situations(i can't hold them). Two years ago I used to panicly fear injections and could not light a fire. In childhood I was afraid of any sharp things(especially knives). Any bad situation in my imagination is felt real for me. When Im hungry my mood is really awful. But I have high concentration, think faster than others and enjoy beauty. /intp/

I am Bipolar and have ADHD and I guess now after answering the questions I m sensitive.. Yes i read between the lines, Yes i think outside the box, Yes im an attention seeker.. and Yes Yes Yes I say and do and act on the first things that Pop into my head.. BUT!! On a serious note to any one reads this Please don't try to change yourself, you are you and the people around you actually do like/love you for who you are. Come on lets be honest,we all love who we are really, there is only one of you and there will never be another one of you haha thank god..I hope I've put a smile on your face and to you reading this..I LOVE YOU 🥰
I just found your channel, and already subscribed. I never heard about this term before today. People always considered me a broken person and they use that against me. I'm always stuck at my house because I'm too afraid to meet people. Now, I know I'm normal as anyone else there's nothing wrong to be who I am. Thanks❤❤
This was an amazing video. Thank you! I didn’t even realize that some of these (like being clumsy) actually had anything to do with it. I really enjoyed this!
Omg... this is me 😥😭 I cannot stand pain also T-T, yes yes I hate coffee, sirens, loud music, strong lights, hate scary movies, when I know someones watching me my perfomance drops YES, going to a theme park yessss, clumsy T-T, ñ-ñ so many thingsss like 99% I counted now so... 28/30... I stopped looking towards the floor many years ago while walking because people think it's weird but one thing I didn't see in your list is that I tend to avoid people's gazes most of the time to avoid looking straight into their eyes anyone else have this happen? and no I am not autistic hahahaha it just makes me uncomfortable with certain people basically. Like I can connect to them if I look at their eyes so I try to avoid it. Also I doubt people find me inspiring but I do tend to be ahead on projects than other people but I always get a sense of jealousy instead.
Thanks a lot for sharing Cerise, that sounds like you're highly sensitive too 😊 If you want to learn more about it, check out my HSP playlist: czcams.com/play/PLpDAC25h6PC8v5bhadp2pKQrK_0e4sd55.html By the way I love your spirited away avatar, one of my favorite movies 😍❤
I agree with the eye contact thing. Especially if we’re talking about a sensitive subject, I can talk about it better if I’m not looking at the person.
I am a HSP and also an introvert. Some people don't understand me and some even laugh at me for having a weird personality, they talk behind my back and I get so depressed sometimes and I cry it all out at night. 😥 Thank you for your videos. 😊
Thanks for sharing Mei Chi. Sorry to read about these people, people can be cruel sometimes, sometimes even without meaning to (they might think your behavior is also cute and chuckle about it lovingly, I don't know) but please don't let it kill the light in you that makes you YOU. You are perfectly fine the way you are 🤗🌿
I am a HSP too and I just read the first chapter of the highly sensitive people book. Then I searched some videos and found you! Literally so grateful you are making these vids. Already subscribed
Red Bean I'm so glad you're here too! That book is great, really helped me out big time. I'm making a HSP video series right now, so check out my HSP playlist for more 😊 Have a lovely day!
Simple Happy Zen Yeah I know! That book really solve all the questions that I've been having about myself all these years. Now i can finally work with myself gently and in a effective way
Amazed to find out that except for the coffee and tolerance of pain everything else is so very accurate 🙃🙂 I love certain aspects of being a HSP, that feeling of empathy towards others and their pain makes me feel more alive and compel me to do good everyday ♥️
Dear HSZ, thank you for your enlightening videos on HSP. 🌈🌹👌🏽In your test only 3 did not resonate for me and in Dr Aron’s test my score was 26 /27. As a teenager I started to experience ASMR which I did not know about those many years back, and found I would try and block the experience as I did not like that something external could have such powerful control and stimulus over my senses. This blocking practice actually helped and I seldom have this on top of HSP.....Being HSP is over stimulating enough!😁
I strongly agreed on 26 out of the 30. I always have to wear earplugs when outside (and at night) , overthink everything and love being on my own (big parties have always been my biggest nightmare;) great video!
You're very welcome Marissa :) Happy this video resonated with you. Feel free to browse my HSP playlist for more videos about being highly sensitive. Take care!
I'm an HSP, but I'm an extravert, around the right people I don't do well isolated or if I feel invisible. I'm struggling with where I live as it's just too remote but am not so great with massive changes on my own. I think I've shut down a lot due to the isolation. I'm living back at my parents who have Aspergers...it's very cold feeling and I function much better with warmth and healthy connection, it makes me feel safe xx This year I'm determined to create a life where my sensitivity and intuition are easily used and valued. Thank you for this CZcams video xxx
Hi Vera I loved this ! I have recently discovered I may be a hsp ! and scored 26 in your check list I really enjoy watching your videos they have helped me in many ways thanks.
I def tick the boxes for am an introversion, hsp, approach avoidant, aspie, & OCD. (Think Shinji Ikari from Evangelion lol.) Thankfully it's common for us to also be highly creative, so at least there is a good trade off to be found lol. My wife is the breadwinner, & it works out great as I find the cooking/cleaning duties so therapeutic for my overactive mind. (And yes, I've been told to "man up" over my sensitive nature more than once lol.) Thanks for the video! :)
I'm 67 now. I just learned I was a HSP a week ago. At 4 I had 4 imaginary friends, two men, two women, they were not kids, they were adults. And I played with them. I hate sad or tragic stories, real or imaginary. What someneone says can ruin my day. Hate loud noises, bright lights hurt my eyes. Something you did not mention: giving a public speach, I get emotional and, against my will, I cry. That's really frustrating. I love to be alone and use to tell me jokes that I really enjoy.
Legit, 30 out of 30. I could cry!!!! I feel very seen. The big crowds (concerts, theme parks etc) take it out of me but in a funny way they make me manic, because I take a long time to unwind after that intense stimulation and get overly excited and can't sleep even though I'm exhausted!
I got 21, I didn't know most of the signs of HSP but it all makes sense now. I've always been creative and imaginative all my life. When I went to the Van Gogh live exhibition it felt like a spiritual journey I was so touched and inspired by the exhibition, I literally couldn't explain how much I loved it and how much it moved me. It reignited my love and passion for art. I feel things very deeply it all makes sense now. Having HSP is emotionally taxing but it's also has alot of beautiful aspects to it. Thank you for this video xx
My score was 20/30. I've learnt lots pf strategies over the years and some things aren't an issue now, otherwise my score would be higher. I've been sober for 19 years but used to drink a lot, I look back and think Wow! I was so obviously using alcohol to try and reduce the sensitivity. I didn't have any understanding until recently which seems ridiculous. Thanks for your channel ❤

I am so happy to finally discover that I am a Highly sensitive person, it gave a new direction to my life
Yes pls do! Most of these are true for me and id like to learn more. It's always been viewed as a negative quality by others around me but as I get older I'm happy to be quite sensitive but would also like to learn more on how to cope w certain situations. Thanks! Loving your channel!
Thanks so much Hau Pia! I'm glad you're getting more comfortable with being HSP, because it's one of the things that make you who you are! :-) Love, Vera
My score was high. I have about 25 of the 30 characteristics for HSP. I've been very emotionally sensitive since childhood. I wonder if that had triggered the SAD & now suffer major clinical depression ? Also none of my siblings have SAD, depression, or sensitivity. My mom is very emotional. I guess I get it from her ? But she is a truly optomistic person, I, on the other hand, always pessimistic. I work as an Emergency room nurse & it is tough to be in that environment b/c my colleges are quite the opposite (tough)& I feel that they do not understand or care about me being an HSP & think I am not a strong nurse. Video on work & surviving in a non-HSP environment would be interesting. Love your channel.
That's a high score monna Armstrong. I think it's something you're born with, like you say. I definitely understand your experiences, a lot of people don't know what HSP is and how to deal with it, and therefore don't understand it. Your profession sounds like it can be quite straining, but remember that being emphatic, warm, loving and sensitive makes you the best nurse your patients could wish for! Stay true to yourself and make choices you yourself are comfortable with. Take care!
The sensitivity can depend on which sense it is. Some people are sensitive in one or two senses, and may be under sensitive in others and become stimulation seeking for that sense.
I am not very sensitive but sensitive enough to make myself sad and anxious most of the time.I like your video very much and hope along with you people I may learn to live happily.
Sorry to hear you feel sad and anxious sometimes but I like your hope for yourself and I hope that for you as well. If you want more info, I suggest watching the other HSP videos in this playlist, in these videos I also give more tips about cultivating happiness and taking care of your mental and physical health. Hope it will be helpful for you. Sending you a hug!
Wow...I got 28 out of 30. I've always been so sensitive and as of right now, I'm STILL a kid. Not a teenager, not an adult, a kid. I've been called cry baby and scaredy cat, and I've always wondered why I acted too much. People scare me for fun. I hate it. But, thank you! I've found this to be relieving and that I know what causes my actions.
Haha, we seem to be quite a like. :) Yes, I did some test some month ago there I came to understand that I am HSP and answered 21 on your questions.( But I'm an extrovert HSP.) I think it is the highly sensitiveness that make me so attracted to minimalism, I see all the clutter in my home and every thing that is in its wrong place directly get the 'to-do-list' rolling. I am really good to distinguish differences by sight, which have come in handy in my bird watching and botany courses, I see the birds and discovers the small little green orchid among all the green grass. Would be interesting if you would do some more HSP videos! Have a great Saturday!
I'm a 51y old guy from Europe, I scored 25 out of 30. I'm also ADHD and have an IQ in the top 1%. Looking back at when I was young, none of these qualities were a blessing. I hope young people who read this find out quicker than I did how to deal with people being unreasonably mean or take advantage of your kindness. As you grow older, and you learn who you are, life gets better, and these qualities do become an asset. I'm now a very happy person who has been successful by most standards, but the road to get here has left many many scars.
Wow. I had heard of this type of person before, but hadn't thought to consider whether I might be an hsp until I watched your video on burnout. I am 28/30 of these!
I got 25 out of 30 and am an INFJ. I get burned out so easily with loud noises and constant stimulation. Husband totally notices it after I've been spending all day with my 9 month old as a SAHM. It makes so much more sense after watching this why my energy tanks by the end of the day and why I start to stress out more if I don't get enough time to myself. There are many great qualities that I love, but there are times when I wish there was an off switch.
Whoa I got 30!! I was beginning to think there was something wrong with me but its amazing to know that it's an actual personality trait that other people have too. Knowing that I'm a HSP now might help me to research how to deal with my little problems a bit easier 😂❤️❤️❤️
@@lauralaura2293 question off topic, is the bottom pic on your profile yours? Typically one doesn't put a pic of their bottom as a profile pic so I'm curious
+SoLiTaRyBoNe my profile picture of bodyspace building...kind of fitness site...everybody there have body pictures usually ...I am into that kind of stuff so I will stop here with explanation
20 were like very true for me and about 6 only half. like i think im not that good in sensing tension in the room but if im with a single person and they feel sad ill feel it too. thats the biggest one that throws me of and makes me think its more on the autism spectrum than HSP
Hi and thank for this video. I know that I am i higjly sensitive person but never had any help on that subject. I only scored 18 in the test - some I might not have noticed until now... But 18 is enought to affect my life tremendesly. Joan from Denmark - new subsciber;-)
Hi and welcome, glad to have you 🙂 thanks for sharing your score. If you want to know more, please check out my HSP playlist. There's also lots of tips in there that you might find helpful. Have a beautiful day! 🌿
Yes I experience that too. I'm editing part 3 of the HSP video series right now, where I share all the benefits of being a highly sensitive person. I think you'll probably like that one and I hope it can also make you see all the wonderful things about it. :) xo

I got all 30!! Wow ,,,so accurate.. thanks👍.i m glad its ' normal'. I m so tired of people telling my to stop being so sensitive !
17 i got i think
Could you help with how to cope with sound better please? This is an everyday struggle.
I am highly sensitive and it meant the world to me to find out.....
I'm so glad Joy! 😊 I remember when I first found out, so many eye openers haha. Have a lovely day 🌼
i can hear you..
I love that so much!!
@@corazondeargentina yeah, unfortunately It's very hard.
Me too! I’m an INFJ and HSP
This!! I feel so seen😢😂😅
Me too! And that thing about videogames is exactly the same for me, I don't usually play video games for more than an hour at a time
I’m also INFJ HSP.
INFJ & HSP. We need a club. We are rarer than a blue moon.
I had around 20. When I was younger and even now, my siblings tell me that I am too sensitive. That I need to grow a thick skin. I like me the way I am. I am more aware of my surroundings and the feelings of others. It makes me more compassionate I think.
That's so great Ngoni, I'm really happy to hear how you're dealing with it because you are absolutely right :-)
So wonderful to hear that my sensitivity is not a negative trait. Thank you from my heart. I will no longer beat myself up and try to "toughen up".
😊
After years of feeling misunderstood about how most things make me tear up, how little things can offend me, I've been doing research about what are hsp and came across this test I relate 100%, I've always been told to toughen up and not to take everything so personal, this made me understand myself so much more. Glad to know I'm not the only one in this journey!
You're definitely not the only one Paulina, so happy this video helped you to learn more about yourself! Feel free to watch my other videos on the HSP playlist to learn more. Have a great day!
Not taking too personal, that sentence have been with me mostly all my life!
My score was 27. As I was listening my eyes were widening and I was thinking “Yes, that’s me!”. I’m an INFJ on the Myers Briggs scale. I had to laugh about noticing the corrections needed on the paperwork, I’m such a grammar nazi ☺️
Hahaha thanks for sharing, I can relate :-) I guess it was a lightbulb moment for you too?!
Simple Happy Zen It certainly was! 😊
Haha great! And no one will ever dare to make a grammatical error with you now :D Have a great rest of your day!
Listening to this I also thought that there had to be a connection with MBTI... I'm a INFJ as well and I think that's a type that totally fit the HSP description!
ShantiLives 👍🏻😊
I got a 30/30 but also i cry a lot, i take things personally. Even if someone is very uncomfortable with me around i feel the need to leave them alone. When someone yells at me or calls me something that isn’t nice i get so frustrated that i want to cry. Im going to high school soon and i am very scared on how much I’m going to be able to take👀
Feel yah gurl
Briya713 Man-ick me too and I’m a guy
Briya713 Man-ick school was so hard for me :( especially when the kids were being all wild in class
Yes,I REALLY DO FEEL YA,omg...I'm so like that!😅🤗💙
Wow, really enlightening! My sister always thought I was being dramatic when getting my hair brushed because I was so sensitive. Now I let my hairdresser know before they get to work that I have a really sensitive head and they don't need to scrub hard or pull. So nice to embrace our uniqueness!
Aaah that's so relatable :D When they brush my hair and pull hard with a comb, it's so painful 😖
I am a hsp and can u do a video on dealing with emotions since I really struggle in that area
Same here friend. I don't know how I'll be navigating through it but it's a big relief to have found people like me in the comment section.
🌹🤗 xo Vera
Heidi Bay You did that on purpose, didn’t you? You know what I mean lol
Thanks for sharing Laurie! 😊🌿 Be glad you're not clumsy! Haha. I actually just bumped my leg against the dishwasher again 😂
Laurie Campbell I watch them when I absolutely have to cry hard enough to get exhausted so I can zero out and start all over again.
When I need to zero out, I sleep for 10-12 hours.
@@lauriecampbell1378 I sleep a lot too even though I come from a country that's known not to sleep for too long. I also am not clumsy and don't watch sad or horror movies. I think me and you are a lot alike :D
Hi there 🙂
When I asked my friend who was a buddhist monk to name 3 positives about me, he said that I was very sensitive. I was confused about how that could be a good thing? Can't wait to see your series on this !
It's definitely a good thing Elizabeth Taylor 😊 Let me know your thoughts when the next video is up!
Wooooow❤
I identify as an HSP. However, the intensity comes and goes depending on my eating habits. When I don't eat clean, I'm a basket case being ultra hypersensitive and all over the place. When I eat clean I am more in command and in control of myself, and handle things that come up like a Boss. Unfortunately, I haven't mastered being consistent basis with my eating habits. I plan for 2020 to focus on consistency. I prefer feeling on top of my game, than a basket case that gets trod on.
thanks for sharing :) Yes for HSPs it's especially important that we take good care of your body. Food, sleep, rest, it all has a bigger impact on us
I’m proud of being an HSP, I truly think they can impact humanity. #17 was awfully accurate 😂 I remember only watching 50 minutes of a horror movie and being terrified for days.
That's lovely and I totally agree! Thanks for sharing
Simple Happy Zen Thank you for uploading such an informative video! ☺️😊
Please make more! I enjoyed this one! It’s nice to know I’m not the only person with this! 😁❤️
Thanks Crystal Hammers!! Will do 🤗
My score was 21 :) I have known I was a highly sensitive person since I was a teenager. It can be tough to be so sensitive but it's also a blessing :)
Thanks for sharing Sarah de Graeff! You're completely right! :-)
Almost all of them. I'm tearing up because I feel understood. Thank God!
The day i found out that there is nothing wrong with me i am just a highly sensitive person was the best day of my life ❤️ i got almost all🎉
I match between 26-30, depending on the particular factors of the situations... Also, I took the Myers-Briggs personality quiz and was found to have the INFP personality. I wonder if that’s common among HSP... 🤷♀️
Thank you for this and ALL of your videos!!!
Wow I got 26/30. I understand myself more now. I'm so glad I've discovered your channel before starting the year 2024. Thank you ❤
Oh my gosh I knew I might be HSP but wasn’t very sure. I got 23/30 and I could relate so much with most of these and I was constantly nodding saying “Omg yes, exactly! That’s me!” No wonder how I feel about so many things was different from everyone else! I’m encouraged to learn more about HSP now! :)
Glad you enjoyed the video, feel free to browse my HSP playlist if you want :)
Xo Vera

I got 25/30 I always wondered why I needed so much alone time even though I'm an ENFP. This was super helpful thanks! Love your videos!
Thanks Michelle Merryman, I'm happy it helped you!! You can check out my HSP playlist for more info if you want 😊
same! i got 25/30 and i'm also and enfp who needs lots of alone time
Omg i also got 25/30 and guess what.... im an ENFJ. It seems like most xNFx are highly sensitive person.
I scored 29 lmao. And that connection to nature it's so incredible. When I'm in the ocean or the forest I feel like all my senses are heightened. Animals are drawn to me it's amazing.

Thanks for the deep explanations. I used to feel shame for my sensitivity but now that I know myself better, im emboldened by it!
I never knew there was such a thing of HSP. I’m definitely in the 10-15%. At least 20 if not more resonates with me 😊. I’m happy to have this knowledge and understanding. To know I’m rare and it’s a gift. Thank you Vera!
I'm all but 2! Learning this has changed life.
You're so welcome 🤗🌺 It's exactly why I wanted to make these videos 🙂
About 15 are sensitive for myself. This was interesting -
thanks.
You're welcome Hazel! 🤗

/intp/

Glad you enjoyed it! :D Haha yes we can definitely be clumsy...
Being a HSP is challenging but I think it's a blessing. It just requires more patience for everyone! Xoxo
Omg... this is me 😥😭 I cannot stand pain also T-T, yes yes I hate coffee, sirens, loud music, strong lights, hate scary movies, when I know someones watching me my perfomance drops YES, going to a theme park yessss, clumsy T-T, ñ-ñ so many thingsss like 99% I counted now so...

I agree with the eye contact thing. Especially if we’re talking about a sensitive subject, I can talk about it better if I’m not looking at the person.
I appreciate your good work on this subject. There is comfort in knowing I'm not the only one.
You are perfectly fine the way you are 🤗🌿
Simple Happy Zen Thank You so much! 😊 Your videos help me a lot. 😘
Mei Chi I'm glad 😊 I appreciate your support as well!

Same here - yes to all except for the coffee and pain parts.
Sounds like we have some stuff in common Nadine Pinkki! 😊

Thanks, I very much enjoyed your kind words about being highly sensitive and could relate to almost all of the points you mentioned. Very reassuring.

Thanks so much Theresa Wray, nice to read that my videos have helped you :-) That's a high score! xo Vera
I got 27' of them I always thought I was sensitive.
Dawn Wassell I think it's safe to say you're probably HSP :-) Have you heard of this name before?
I got 21, I didn't know most of the signs of HSP but it all makes sense now. I've always been creative and imaginative all my life. When I went to the Van Gogh live exhibition it felt like a spiritual journey I was so touched and inspired by the exhibition, I literally couldn't explain how much I loved it and how much it moved me. It reignited my love and passion for art. I feel things very deeply it all makes sense now. Having HSP is emotionally taxing but it's also has alot of beautiful aspects to it. Thank you for this video xx
Omg.... I was totally bawling when you mentioned animals in the pound.....
Yes me too 😢😢😢
I counted 26!!! This knowledge is very important to me.
Thank you for sharing Liz Ryan! Did you know about HSP?
28 and excited that youtube showed me your profile today! Finally someone who „understands“ me 🤭
I was told being sensitive and empathic is a gift. Hmmmm. Not always. Can be a curse …… and is most of the time. 27 out of 30!
Take care!
I got 28 out of 30. Unfortunately, I don't have a clear picture of my future, nor do I tend to be ahead of the game when it comes to projects.
Thanks for sharing your score Rosalia :) It sure sounds like you're a highly sensitive person!
Thank you.....will be sure to check out the playlist
26 out of 30. I never thought about this topic or understood myself on this level.
Thanks for sharing your score Jen. Feel free to check out my HSP playlist if you want to learn more about it :)
That's true Siri! The things you mention are a talent :-) Thanks for requesting, you have a great Saturday too! 🤗
26, had no idea. Guess I need to explore this more.
Thanks for sharing Hannah, sure sounds like you're a highly sensitive person :)
I got 24 out of 30 and I just found out I’m an INFJ. I’m honestly really happy ❤️❤️❤️
😱😱😱 it's totally me.. thank you for video ..
Haha you're very welcome!
WOW AND WOW. Almost all of it. Made me understand me more nown Thank you ❤
Dear Vera, my score was around 10/30 but those 10 I feel strongly about, so I believe this definitely applies to me 😊
Thanks for sharing your score Isabel, it can definitely also apply if you feel strongly about some of them :)
@@SimpleHappyZen 😊
I am definitely a HSP and a real ENFJ... Not always easy, but I am grateful of who I am :-) Love from Brussels xxx
Thanks so much for sharing Achka 😊 I also got ENFJ as my score haha
Hey, we’re pretty similar! I’m INFJ.
wow...you describe me 100%
Laura Laura Then you're definitely a HSP 😊 Did you know that about yourself? Have a nice day!
+Simple Happy Zen No, until now! Thank you for posting!

The worst thing about it is ..it is getting even stronger by advancing age
Yes I experience that too. I'm editing part 3 of the HSP video series right now, where I share all the benefits of being a highly sensitive person. I think you'll probably like that one and I hope it can also make you see all the wonderful things about it. :) xo
U will rock it .... I'm sure ....thnx 💎
Thanks that's so sweet!!
@Lake Natron I like that suggestion. 😊 Maybe we're also getting more and more in tune with it.
