- After my few issues that I had when messing around with these figures, decided to do a not so tradition review for these figures. In this video, Steve and Arnes go over the new wave of NECA Kenner figures and discuss the good, bad, and how they could be fixed. Please enjoy!

I may have to get the queen facehugger to use the smaller facehugger to go with the Alien 3 considering the deleted scene that showed the queen facehugger which is how she got the queen chestburster inside her, will wait for it to go down in price.

Sorry to see you guys disappointed in them, I know y'all were looking forward to them. I haven't picked any up yet, and I think I'm down to just getting the Mantis at this point. I like that it looks super different. Gorilla, as you stated, just used too much of the existing moulds. Little disappointing.
Mantis is the best to pick up for sure. Hopefully with the next releases they do it's a little more impressive.
The Kenner Bull Alien was always my favorite...I hope NECA releases that one day.

my spiked tail was missing the hole for his gun so I had to get mine replaced too but I kept both guns and throwing stars >>

I would send u one because I currently have a lot of dupes due to trying to get the full collection but good luck on that!
I liked these for the most part but mine had a lot of issues. The Mantis head was totally off and the ball joint refused to fit so I had to super glue the head on so no head movement. The torso is so loose it just flops. The leg joints are loose so it can't stand upright and has to balance on the kness. My Gorilla is pretty much perfect except for one floppy forearm and the black head dome does not fit or snap on, just rests on top so I can't use it. The clear dome fits fine but I prefer the black one. I'm pissed they half assed the queen hugger and I also wanted to see it with the tiny mouth. None of these warrant a $20-25 dollar price tag for the quality. I'll probably hang on to the Gorilla but the Mantis I'm gonna have to re-buy at Toysrus and hope I get a good one and return my shitty one. I really like the Mantis and want it to be in good shape. Fingers crossed they do the rest of them. I really want a Snake, Rhino, Boar and Panther. Really missing my old Kenner figures right now!
I've been slowly getting more of the originals in the package. Sucks to here about your Mantis though :(
The way I get my neca figures is unique to most unique.
I am so disappointed with these.. I was gonna get them cause I love the Kenner alien line.. Mantis and Crab being my favs, but after watching this I would just keep them in the box but that defeats the purpose for me so guess I'll pass, unless they get a rerelease fixing some of the issues.
There would have to be some kind of mass recall on these in order to fix the problems. I think at this point it's just luck of the draw. I know some people have gotten ones that are perfect but its rare. I'm def replacing my Mantis if I find one in stores.
you do realize the queen facehuggers aren't designed after the kenner versions right? they are just a repainted version of the A3 royal facehugger they showed in their A3 toyfair display in 2016
also what I do with some of my mantises to get them crouched and standing is hook the little spike on the back of the 2nd knee in between the spines down on the side of her thorax :P so i can have 2 stretched out and 2 hunched over but I do need to use doll stands on the standing up ones :)
I know that it is not actually designed after the Kenner, which is the whole problem. It should have been released in a different line if they were not going to actually make it resemble the original figure. The other two are more of what I'm looking for but still not as great as they could have been.
I really want to get these, but everyone is complaining about them breaking... I'm so broken up about this.

I'm sorry for your loss I'm done with Neca because I got the genoside queen and broke. 😭 got my money back and started getting Star Wars lol
I'm still holding out for the black Queen on Amazon myself. Not sure if I want the red one yet.
The queen is getting a reissue soon so I'd just wait.

the queen facehugger from neca is based off the one 100% that was going to be in the old movies and isnt anything like the old toy version
they should do trendmasters Godzilla figures from the 90s

hey you can imagine when the mantis alien bending over and when you pull the mantis alien back you can imagine it like lashing out at people
Use the dog alien stand for the mantis mines standing hunched over looks awesome
not a bad idea my dog alien stand is just sitting there might as well get used
I really like the Gorilla alien because a gorilla is my favorite animal and also Xenomorphs are my favorite. But he isn't my favorite design don't get me wrong he is still loved by me i just think he is my second favorite and the Alien Vs Predator Xenomorph looks more cool of design to my opinion but anyways the gorilla alien is awesome with his giant claw that is on his tail those 3 oval egg shaped silver type peices on the tail claw i have always been fascinated of always having that claw being a probe for chest burster embryos.
breaking the mantis alien is a criminal offence in the state of WV.

Main reason I don't have it is that huge price tag. I wish I didn't miss out on it when it was originally released.

Look up the lore behind the real queen facehugger. What's her true purpose.
I know a little about the royal facehugger and such but I wanted this to be more like the Kenner figure then the actual Queen hugger.
I recall seeing a a Queen hugger statuette on BBTS that looks identical to the red figure only much nicer and realistic.
