It feels like it will last forever and there's no way out, but there is. Please tell someone, don't stay quiet. It may not be "cool" to tell, but it's less "cool" to be a bully!
Remember, the bullies have something broken inside them which makes them act out. The majority of bullies are or have been abused at home. Telling someone will also allow them get the help they need.

It is a beautiful video. I was bullied in Grade 4 and 5. I ignored the girl who bullied me. I'm now in Grade 7 and she doesn't bother me. She bullied me and my friends but I didn't show weakness. I wasn't hurt by her. She was an emotional bully. These things happen to girls and boys. So true.

I've realized that for some people, people like me, that have been bullied for most of there life, I'm 12 years old, and I've been bullied for a couple of years, I realized that after u are truly scared, from ur mind, It's depression that's ends most people, almost took me, but then someone asked me, "who was bullying u" But after being bullied soo much, it was myslef doing it to myslef, It's called depression, I think no one should ever be bullied, we are all people, even if we are fat or skinny, beutiful or smart, we all deserve an equal life :)

Practical tips for those who are being bullied:
- Speak one on one with someone. Most of the time when someone is bullied, it is by a group because people are stronger together. When you talk to someone alone who (also) has a nice personality, you can convince him/ her that ...
- Make friends outside school.
- Change a little bit. E.g. don't look down, smile more and don't be afraight to talk to someone. Especially when it's one on one.

I have always been bullied because I was born in Germany then moved to England. In yr 4 a boy called Soydan said that I should live in the sewers. Now I am in secondary school it has stopped quite a lot but the odd few people who went to my Primary School still say: 'Oy, German Girl' to get my attention.

from first grade through freshman year i was bullied outright
it mostly happened because i came from a religious school so everyone assumed i was a snob without ever getting to know me

I was depressed before I even got into school, my happiest memory is from when I was 5 it's been 6 years I always put on a fake smile and my mom doesn't know what it's been like being depressed.
As much as I wish people could go around holding hands and coexisting, it just won't happen.

This spoke to me. I used to be bullied profusely, and in a lot of ways I still am to this day. Every kid started asking the same questions, and I call it "The Interview" because I get it so much. Back in elementary school. Even kids I had never introduced myself to started doing it. That's how I knew rumors were spreading about me. Everybody would be asking me questions that no one would dare ask to anyone else. I put in complaints. My parents were vaguely aware of it, but they didn't really do anything. No one does anything today. Everybody I talk to about it is like: "Oh, kids will be kids," or "given your situation, questions are inevitable" but I hate the questions, especially when people accuse me of being something that I'm not, mainly because they are incredibly ignorant to anything that happens and all they care about is themselves, and while they are entirely capable of just putting two and two together about my situation, they choose not to for comic relief in my pain. I know it's going to happen. It's been happening since second grade. I am in seventh grade now. I just want it to stop so I can live a normal life...

I do plan to go to school for writing and animation so I can make cartoons that convey very LGBT-esque (and more specifically, transgender) themes because very few people listen to me on the small scale, but something on Cartoon Network or Disney XD or something like that. :)

Sometimes.. some people are luckier than us.. sometimes others aren't.. but what matters most is that we're all perfectly strong in our own different ways. No one's worth a scar, nobody. If they were really that worthy.. you would not have those cuts/scars caused by them.. People can say this world is all but a dream, but others can prove that, that statement is everything but true. I wish that people would TRY 2 do more 2 stop bullying. In school they tell u 2 tell a teacher. At home ur parents say u need 2 talk 2 some1 AND talk 2 that person. Well if ur telling people, shouldn't they do or TRY 2 do something? When I was bullied, my mom went 2 the principle and asked him several times 2 change me 2 a different class 'cuz it kept getting worse. Never switched me. She got suspended 4 2 days and then came back and started it all again. I kept telling and telling. Do u think this is right? Telling some1 ur being bullied doesn't really help. They should do more. Y not make bullying against the law? Wouldn't that work a lot better than just telling some1?

Sometimes I just wish I could hug all those who are being bullied, say that it'll be alright I'll be there for them and that they've got a friend. Or help those being attacked in school. The pain of sitting here and not able to do anything is horrible. Knowing a kid could be contemplating death and I can't do anything...
I am broken, I am sad, but never would i wish to be dead, i have a wonderful family and a roof over my head....

Incredible song. I found this whilst searching for songs to use with my class for Anti-Bullying week 2018 and this is just perfect. Some hard messages within it but ones that we don't often talk about with our pupils - cannot wait to share it with them - they'll be able to relate to so much of it.

I'll never forget the people who bullied me. The people I had called friends left me, ignored me, they pushed me into a locker. They spread false rumors about me and soon on other people caught onto this act. It really hurt me...I hadn't done anything wrong, had I? Then I remember my first time hearing this song. I broke down in tears. This song has really helped me through my hard times...the words in this song has more meaning than any song I've ever heard. It's stopped me from suicide and it's helped me learn who I really am. Thank you so much for this video, it's truly amazing!

Sometimes, you have to be someone else's light, smile through the pain, because you know that your family and friends would collapse without you. It's sometimes the ones who smile, laugh, help out someone they don't know, because they know what that person might be going through. So, because you are the glue, you force yourself on. And sometimes, the darkness crowds in. You can be depressed with a smile. I should know. Why don't you speak up? They make you feel like you deserve it. But you don't. Nobody does.

One: I love this. Everything we do can help affect someone in a way. Being friendly can make sure no one gets hurt. Whenever I get cyber bullied online, I ignore them easily, but it's sad to see others get bullied and not doing anything. I swear after watching this video to help anyone one being bullied by rude people who don't understand what some kids are going through.Two: My cousin was once being bullied. He is four years older than me and I was in like seventh grade. I stopped the guys mentally hurting him, by screaming at them saying Why should they care what he does with his appearance. All is causes is them to be yelled at by the kid's true family (not even if they aren't related by blood, loyalty and helping them when in need shows they are true family) The guys ran off. I say this because look at that. I was around 13 years old standing up for like a 16 or 17 year old without physically getting involved. Stopping bullying is reasoning with the bullies, showing them the pain the kid had suffered and asking the bullies Why? Why had they done this.

I wish my parents loved me like other parents do. Every time I see someone I knew all happy I get this feeling of something deep inside, I didn't do anything to them. I used to be bullied almost every day in junior high school for the three years. And I managed to get through this hell. I fought a tough fight and I'm still here alive. I am strong. I'm a warrior. I'm a survivor and that's what I'm proud of.

I was bullied in school too. My mother never knew cuz she bever cared to ask. I hated getting attention so I would be in the background, but not only was I bullied at school but at home as well. At one point my cousin almost drowned me along with my brother. They would tease me and tell me I was useless. Everybody has their own background and some hate theirs, I however couldn't care anynore cuz I was tired of life. I started cutting my arm and my stomach, I now have a lot of stomach aches and pains cuz I didnt watch where I stoked the knife. And again my mom never knew anything in my life. As life goes on she finally gets a call from the school concealer and told her. I got yelled at an been told not to do it again.
Life again was never fair for me but I finally have a boyfriend who cares bout me. He helps me up when I fall and holds me. I have some great friends now to but still feel lonely without my parent's love.

I was bullied and it still try to shake it off. Nobody stood up for me. Not even me. Only I know how much those emotional and verbal abuse has hurt me and affected me from within. They bullied me and they never told me why? It affected me so much that I left that place and got my further studying from far away, cause I wanted to leave and I left. Tell someone in charge about is going on. It works. I did and my bullies in High school stopped bullying but I always encountered other Bullies but I always turning to another person. I also got defended by Boy in middle school. I was lucky that someone saw me getting bullied and willing to Stand up for me but not everyone can be lucky to have someone to stand up for them.

Sasha Delgado I graduated high school, also college and I always turned a person because I knew it would work, bullies had lefted me. I refused to go to my 10th high school because I don't see the people who bullied because I was different from them. I have a hard time trusting people I think me being bullied was partly why I hard time trusting people. My 10th high school reunion is less then 2 years away. The only person I whether see again is the boy who defended back in middle. I have no clue where he is at and plus I don't know of I will ever see him again. The people who bully people will bully other people to bring themselves up when they are down and to bring other people down.

this is something that has happened to me....ive been failing some classes because of it...ive lost my outlet of sports due to injury and i let them get in my head...its rough but people can overcome this just smile...if its physical or mental at school talk one on one with a teacher you trust...life does work out
I have a condition called MDP that only me and 12 other people have in the world! It doesn’t matter what you look on the outside it matters what is inside you. What would the world be like if everyone was the same, it would be boring. Be you,do you,for you. Be yourself. Some days are better, some days are worst. I will look for the blessings instead of the curse. I won’t let anyone put me down, I will keep my head held high and I will keep my heart strong. We are not all born the same, how boring the world would be, being different is the best thing,makes us a lot more free. There are some that are very different, disabilities here and there, they are still human beings, treat them equally and fair. Everyone is affected differently, can be mild to severe, still don’t hesitate to say hi, no need to live in fear, don’t refuse to get to know someone, we shouldn’t have a set view, regardless of their diagnosis, they’re still just like you. Be kind, be strong, be you. Being different is unique and beautiful. Being different is the best thing that I ever wished for. It’s ok to cry and feel sad. It hurts me but this is who god made me ❤️

I love this because i was bullied since yesr 4 up to 7. I am in 7 now and it has just stoped. But i lived next door to the bullied and they would tear me and my family apart. I was scared to go to school and even come home. Who else can relate ?

I am 11. I have been bullied. Teachers don't listen, and so the bullies keep going. Sometimes I am a the breaking point to where I don't know who I am. I started wearing makeup and others started to call me ugly less, I started cheating on tests, lees have called me stupid, but it doesn't feel right. When I stopped putting makeup on and stopped cheating on tests, it started again, but this time, they teamed up on me, and when I tried to go away, they made a circle and didn't let me out. Teachers never saw, and never listened when I told them. Bullying is serious. I am a victim. But I will not take my life just to give them the satisfaction of it. I hope you do the same if you are bullied. Don't take your life because of someone else's insecurity. Stay strong! I know you can!
Greetings, my name is corry and i am 11 aswell. I have had depression and anxiety and the people around me have ignored it aswell. But i met someone online who treated me for who i was and made a difference to my life. She helped me. I was bullied from the age of 7 and the bullying hasnt stopped yet. I am moving to a different school next year but im afraid that because its a bigger school it will be more bullies. So all i can do is wish. I havent smiled in years and i hope ur life gets better. 90% of bullies bully because your weak. Stand up for yourself and be strong, because if you keep letting them bully you, they will keep bullying you thats what people don't realize, your making yourself an easy target. Have you ever realized that bullies would pick on weak/easy people. It's your choice to either fight back or not, I'm not forcing you to, but I'm telling you this based on experience, it's better to try and stop yourself from getting bullied rather than not doing anything and getting yourself hurt everyday. But I'll tell you if you succeed in stopping them, you will have an happy life, if you don't do anything, you will live a miserable life. Sad but true. :) Stay strong people.

This is inspirational. However, from personal experience, you must think about this:
If it was one or two girls, stand up against yourself. But over time, the whole school seemed to turn against you, (Yes, this is from personal experience.) They just look at you with dirty looks, just whisper about you behind your back, just spread worthless, scary rumors, just make your life a living hell. From this experience, and for mostly anyone, you would break down, seeing everyone is against you. Friends that was with you? Gone. They're afraid. Afraid of the same thing happening to them. The bullies pick on the weak. That's most times true. But honestly, I was a strong girl. Always laughing, smiling. And they chose me. It seems more amusing for them to break down someone so strong, and see them cry, and weep in their beds. However, honestly speaking, you are inspirational with your comment. So, for me, here is to those who are bullied:
What do they know about you? What do they know you're going on? It's amusing for them, but you, by now, should already know that you are strong. You are a person of survival. You have a heart that they cannot break. They may seem to have broken it now, but you can stitch it together. Cover up your mistakes, and start fresh. Remember this; There is only one of you. One of your personality, and one of you entirely. Don't give up on life, as out there, there could be people who are bounded to meet you by fate. Maybe your husband? Wife? Best friend? Stand up against them. Don't let them tear you apart every single day. Fight back. There is so much to live for in the future. Maybe you'll get famous, rich, a loving family. You can be that person who survived.

Standing up for yourself doesn't always work, and most bullies don't bully because you're weak, it's usually because someone is different and a lot of them treat people how they're treated at home, so yeah. Standing up for yourself doesn't really do shit and no one should have to be put in that position in the first place.
