I'm a credentialed member of the press. This is my eyewitness account of January 6th. My question to this day, where was the National Guard?
I was filming on the west side of the Capitol for 7 hours. I took all reporting available, where my journalist colleagues were, and plugged into my view.
Sandi, historians will be so grateful for this record, as well as we the US citizens. The truth must be documented.

Great observation. Who paid for planning, coordination, signs, huge flags, transportation, hotels? There was serious money behind all this. I know some people like Women for America First did a great deal.

This was the most comprehensive and impactful of the footage I have seen. Ms Bachom did a masterful job of inserting the viewer in the midst of such mayhem. Without being there I was given a comprehensive picture of how the day unfolded. Who paid for signs, flags, advertisements for the day, transportation there, hotels? There must have been serious money behind this event.

The paragraph below is taken directly, and verbatim, from the Washington, D.C. National Guard website. It turns out that this military unit is the only unit in America that reports DIRECTLY to the President of the United States. Any president can activate this military unit with a simple phone call to that unit's commanding officer.
Trump must have known this, don't you think? He could have ordered them to the capitol building hours earlier but chose not to do so. He was having too much fun watching the violence he caused play out on T.V. at the White House.
NOTE: By 2:42pm, there were 10, repeat 10, requests that the National Guard be deployed.
All of these requests were denied.
I watched this live. This is a chilling and accurate depiction of what happened.
