Is putty necessary I see sharpey doesn't use it and do I feel the lead down as normal then slacken off when putting my rod on the alarms?enjoyed the video 👍

Does making a chod rig, but replacing the D-rig with a pop up by a hair rig made with braided line with a boilies good to fish in weed?
