How to prepare homemade rust water!

- Here are two ways of making homemade rust water (a substitute for powdered ferrous sulphate), a slower method for when you have more time and a faster one to use if you need it in a hurry.

made rust water last year, have not used it since Nov 2022. It has a mother type balls on the top, I know I can remove them, the rust is quite strong now, can I dilute with water and some more vinegar and keep using it. Thank you. Love this technique, just don't have creative space i my heard lately

alrighty... have made the rust water. now gow do i use it? rust blanket - but is it diluted or used full strength? Dipping leaves - again same question. Shifting color in predyed pieces again confused about strength to use😢

I like my rust water strong but only by using it will you know which results you like best. Just don't keep rusty metal in a thin walled metal pot or it will develop holes. It's fine to leave it in a plastic or rubber container though
