Rare that I like and leave comments but this video is very informative ! Thanks
Great video! I agree with the Garmin Echomap. Very user friendly and great pictures. The Touch Screen is awesome. Had a Helix 7. Great pictures but no Touch Screen so going back and forth between screens and tuning it in was cumbersome.
Thanks for the review!
Really appreciate this review. Especially the price levels. The knowledge and foresight are extremely helpful.
Awesome video thanks
Great video and thanks for sharing the information
Thanks for watching!
Great video, I am going with 93SV for front and back. thank you
hey how do you like the unit?
Great video and information. Thanks for sharing!
I recently purchased a new G3 Gator Tough 17SC with a 70HP Yamaha. I plan to fish the local lakes and rivers for crappie and pan fish. Any suggestions on a setup for a trolling motor and fish finder?
I have 93sv for scope up front ....and a echo map 73 for maps and a striker 9 for sonar on console works out pretty good
I plan on buying a new Chart Plotter this spring. Looking at the 93 SV UHD2 for 1199.00 I can get an 93 SV UHD with the 54 Transducer for 600.00 at Bass Pro. Do you think the UHD2 with the 56 Transducer is worth the price. Plan on doing mostly Crappie, Walleye, Panfishing.
Thanks
Rick
Which units has the best sonar as to side, down, and forward?
I do deep see fishing an am looking for something under 1500$ I need something to mark 2,000 feet clear any options
Any thoughts on get the lvs 32 vs lvs 34...get the 32 now or keep saving for the 34
I would get the 32 now at the sale price of under $1k. Then sell it whenever you're ready to upgrade to the lvs34
Do people pay out cash to build out a boat or do they finance a build out? I’d really like to build out my boat with Garmin equipment and electronics but I can’t afford a thing up front like that. So my question is, is it even worth financing or do I buy one unit a year until Ive bought all the units and equipment I wanted?
Thanks ...which one would be better for kayak and portability?
I think the Garmin Echomap series (73sv or 93sv) would make for a very portable setup for a kayak.
@@FloppingCrappie Do these always sell without transducers ...the one i looked at no trans and said offshore model.. complicating things for us newbs lol
@@FloppingCrappie There are refurbished models available on Amazon but seems to be preloaded for offshore does this make any big difference? Can you reprogram navs software on these or delete? GT51 xdcr any good? I'm researching afap but just tgought you might be able to infer some help on these disc models ..thanks
I have the 73sv and the 93sv + LiveScope,,, Garmin Is the real deal
Both are great units
I have same unints 93for scope 73 for maps and sonar and a striker 9 for sonar
I was looking to buy elite fs9, but now you make me doubt, saying echomap uhd 93sv is better, can you explain a bit more in depth to me why should I go to the garmin instead..
The new echomap have better screen resolution than the Elite FS series. The old lowrance elites did not have mega imaging for down scan or side scan. I looked at the lowrance website, and I'm not sure if the new version uses mega imaging or not.
I’m looking to buy a fish finder for my boat. I fish in Lake Ontario in NY state. I really and truly don’t know much about these systems at all. I watch your video and thought I would ask you. I do the salmon tournaments and want to do my own thing. Please if you would help me with the best one you would recommend. I’m really lost watching these videos and my buddy has a 6,000.00 unit but I’m not going to spend that much and really don’t think you need such a high dollar fish finder like he has to find fish. I hear you talking about the Garmin series but and lost for words to understand what I would buy. Would you please get back to me a idea of one that would fit my kind of fishing please and thank you? Hope to hear back from you. Ty
As a starting point, I would recommend looking at the Garmin echomap 93sv. This unit comes in at roughly $1k. You might be able to find it on sale. This is a great all around unit with downvu and sidevu plus touchscreen capablities.
Just bought a lowrance hds live 7 for$598 with everything included.
That's a really good deal!
