Flashlight Hack #3 - fixing your contact points

Here is another quick flashlight hack, where I will show you how to clean up your contact points on your flashlight to lower the resistance in the light body and to increase your brightness and lengthen your run times.

I will try this! Great idea! I have had success using small metal brushes (bought at local dollar store for $1) to clean all contacts. Brush your batteries too!

Great tips! My flashlights usually get cleaned after the alkaline batteries leak. Then they get a vinegar bath. 18650's and CR123's never get cleaned. Must start maintaining them better and your video really helps.

+FullArmorE6 you would be surprised if you end up doing a spring bypass, clean the contact points, lap the tube contacts, and switch over to anti-reflective glass you can easily add 15-20% to lumens and run times.

What you are showing is simple but what about doing these things with a REGULAR SIZE FLASHLIGHT?????
