Presence is an *extremely* underrated/unappreciated album. Robert having to be away from his family during such a difficult time after the car crash, stuck in a hotel where the usual distractions weren't working, while working on an album he didn't feel like doing with feelings of loneliness while drinking tea for one. This song, to me, conjures up feelings of exquisitely luxurious pain and despair. The guitar is speaking as clearly as the lyrics; you can hear it cry out in anguish, as it describes its tale of suffering and heartache, and a sound of almost resignation to its fate. Musical perfection wrapped in a cloak of somber beauty.
A minute feels like a lifetime, especially when listening to Zeppelin. Emotions transcend time with their songs...
Your description is profound and point on
Ok 👍!!!
thats jimmy...nothing else to say
This album has really grown on me through the years. I was in college when this first came out, when the punks were calling Zeppelin dinosaurs. Boy, were they so wrong...
They were just jealous because they couldn’t play their instruments.
@@dickcnormis1444 😂...correct!!!
@@dickcnormis1444 🤣😂🤣👏👏👏
Well if being in your late twenties and being an all time great musician is being a dinosaur I'll sign up for that!
@@dickcnormis1444 so who listens to any punk music now....no one
ZEPPELIN Rules the kingdom of ROCK/BLues
Biz, This album is even more impressive when you realize that Robert Plant was in a cast and in a wheelchair when he recorded his vocals. He had just gotten a car accident in Greece.
A great album and song. Often overlooked. This album more than any album of theirs showcases Bonham’s drumming/immense talent.
This ALBUM IS VASTLY UNDERATTED JUST LIKE "HOUSES Of The HOLY" and "In Through The Outdoor" Whatever this band has is incredible. Four of the most talented musicians that ever got together. Man, you can hear every single instrument and they sync it all together! You cannot compare Led Zeppelin with any other band, they were unique, and their music lasts forever.
Mr Biz
This is probably my favorite Zeppelin song. When I was a teenager back in the 70's. I would go in my room turn on my black light and let this song take me to a different place 😌
My favorite song on this album ...and this album is brilliant and Jimmy mixed, recorded and produced the entire album in 19 days..
just amazing
It's really mind blowing for the time period
That guitar solo is one of the greatest pieces of music I've ever heard in my life. Jimmy has that thing crying. Crying the blues.
My favourite song on Presence, and a top ten Led Zeppelin song all time. Btw, I love the train in the background
There are so many good jimmy page solos, but this one is special. It’s like taking a journey into another dimension. Emotional and powerful.
Yes, Presence is one of the few perfect albums in nature. Never, ever gets old.
This is my favorite song off this album but then again I am partial to the Blues.
Zeppelin is the band that can absolutely take my mind away from everything else and totally pull me in. When I'm listening to them , I am thinking of nothing else but the sounds they're making. To me they are the unmatched masters of rock music
I Love Zeppelin. I love the blues. I love the blues because of Zeppelin.
Oh and PS this is the most under rated Zeppelin album
This one always hits home for me gotta get a drink and cry for this this is what this one does for me
In 1981, that summer I was introduced to this album. My cousin had bought it, and would play it everyday that summer.
Amazing album in my opinion.
Love your passion my brother! You get Zeppelin you know what Zeppelin is about! This album is my second favorite behind physical graffiti!
Definitely rock Gods!
Regal blues. As only Zeppelin could do. Take a simple concept of loneliness and create epic art. Page listed this solo among his favorites. You can see why. For all the great guitar players out there, few if any can match Jimmy Page at his heartfelt best. If this solo doesn’t speak to you, maybe you aren’t listening.
Masterpiece. So full of longing and feeling
This song catches you right in the feels
Would have loved seeing this performed live, sadly to bad it wasn’t, a true Blues song. You could feel his pain, & loneliness, so hard being away from his family at that time. Another song, that shows why they are the greatest band ever.
❤❤❤Robert ❤❤❤
A wonderful tension filled song …you talk about emotion and tension…jeez…love it.
Such a throwback to their first album. This song could have fit almost perfectly.
Everything they did was great!! Next Album will be great as well. Even your channel is great 🙂
One of the under rated ZEP songs in my heart. In reality its not a 1.5k like thumbs up video... I don't know why.
Biz, I feel exactly like you do about this album! This song in particular takes me to a different place. It reminds me of a true love I once had who is no longer on this earth. It doesn't make me sad anymore. That's a good thing! Led Zeppelin was our jam. I'm so glad you're diggin it as much as you are!
its so heavy. and beautiful.
I was listening to this in middle school 30 years ago.
This is the one, “Tea For One” that is!! Amazing song ♥️🎤🔥🎼♥️
Blues masters at work
Some of Jimmy's (or ANYONE'S) most amazing, intricate and SOULFUL guitar work. Some of these licks make me teary-eyed, they're so moving. And Robert's "mopey" (meant in a good way, of course!) lyrics and vocals. JPJ and Bonzo in perfect sync as usual, and you have one of Zeppelin's most impressive achievements. And barely anyone has ever heard it.
Hi B, isn't it crazy how talented these guys are..superb reactions to mighty Zep
Rock gods they are!
Also good shit man. Good on you for just actually enjoying it and having the patience to do so also. Respect man
My favorite song on this album, if not my favorite song of theirs entirely. Also amazing review!!
Love tea for one 💕💕💕💕💕✨
Oh my god...your face say it all...you’ve got a good case of “ the feels”. 😉❤️
Beyond great ✌
They said this song is about being away from home for months on tax refugee and staying in hotel rooms staring at the ceiling. This song nails it.
I'm glad you're listening and drawing your own conclusions... and enjoying the hell out of it! 🎸🤘😎
A bit of Since I've Been Loving You from Zep III. Still a really good song.
Yes definitely
Brilliant Zeppathon, 😊
Now that is the way you close out an album!!!
Thanks for staying with LZ . In my opinion the best rock has to offer.Took me awhile to get into Physical Graffiti, Presence, and In through the out door. No band wants to keep doing the same thing. I guess that they were more willing to evolve than I was. Saw them twice in 72 and 73. Thanks for your channel! 😁
This one's for we two ♥️
First time I've seen Tea for One on a reaction vid, good stuff. When I heard this for the first time I was on LSD, I think the atoms in my body went back to the sun from whence they came, leaving just my perception floating in mid air like a ghost.
5:22 lol
Great reaction. This could be my favorite guitar solo
last couple of Zepp albums were underratted i loved em
Back in the day , Ep's were only 3-4 songs Unless they were very short .
This album hardly got airplay from radio stations because d.j. 's felt betrayed like a lot of fans felt
Great album. Great reactions. Thanks!
Robert Plant did thr vocals on Presence from a wheelchair after a really bad car wreck in Greece. This was the beginning of the end for the band. Karac, Robert Plant's son, would die in the middle of the tour for Presence, causing the Mighty Zeppelin to cancel the rest of the tour. It would be 2 years before the band got back together and played a couple of massive sold-out shows in Knebworth. A few months later, during rehearsals at Jimmy Page's house, the incomparable John Bonham died in his sleep.
“There was a time that I stood tall in the eyes of other men; but by my own choice I left you-and now I can’t…get you back again.”
That's how to end an album! That song still gives me chicken skin!
Presence is a Every Songer 🔥
Nicely done BizMatik
☮️🤘🤙
We feel u 🥰
That's the thing. Todays albums have like 20 songs on them and maybe 2 or 3 bangers. Back then albums only had 8 to 10 songs and maybe MAYBE 1 dud.
Hey Biz what a fantastic reaction just love watching you soakin all this brilliance up like a giant sponge(don’t you drown now) I told you you’d love it you remind me of myself 46years ago listening to this for the first time Mind Blown !!!!!!!!! At the time this was a very derisive album that split the masses I could never ever understand why this album oozes awesomeness.
The next album is a very very different departure for Zeppelin In Through The Outdoor is my lowest ranked Zep album but they are still some fantastic gems to look forward to 99% of bands would love for their best album be as good as Zeppelins worst Truth 😎😎😎
I'll be waking in through the out door to be there, biz
Biz, I gotta make this short sooooo.... LOVE this song, you and your reaction!!💯👏👏👏👏 Thanks for dojng this incredible and fun azz Zep journey for us!! It's been a hell of a fun ride watching you get to know Led Zeppelin!! You rock Biz!!💯😘
SIDE NOTE: I'm really looking forward to your thoughts on "IN THROUGH THE OUTDOOR". That album is a bit different. Still sounds like Zep on all levels.... but you can definitely hear the life maturity in that album imo. (I love it just as much as all the others!!) I think it's gonna be interesting to hear your thoughts as u go through it! Keep in mind, they were 20 y/o punks and rebels (Jimmy and Robert's words, NOT MINE!🤷♀️😁) when they made their first album! They had matured quite a bit when recording In Through The Outdoor.
🤦♀️K, this didn't end up being short after all! Lol!! 🙄Go figure!!🤷♀️🤣😂🤣
Cant wait to hear the next one too.. 🙌🏿🙌🏿
In Through the way Out
Earl Court 1975 is an amazing performance
Told ya so. Lol. At work now but checking this one later
I'm gonna crawl good one
This is a top 10 LZ song in my book
I always considered this song part 2 of since I've been Loving you. Great song.
PEOPLE! THERE'S 137 VIEWS AND ONLY 28 LIKES? GET IT TOGETHER AND HIT THAT THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😁😒 Let them know Tammie!!
@@watchbizmatik I'm all over it Biz!
the guitar on this whole album was worked out by Jimmy in one evening..
yeah bro I knew you would dig this one.
Hey Biz, I have really enjoyed sharing your Led Zeppelin discovery with you. At this point, I thought I would share my thoughts on this fabulous band after listening to them for over 50 years. My favorite album of theirs is Physical Graffiti, so much to love about it. Next would be a tie, between this one, Presence, and LZ II. After that in order would be III, IV, I, Houses of the Holy and finally In Through the Out Door. I don't count CODA because it is essentially a creation by their label to sell records after Bonzo passed and the band broke up. Favorite songs of theirs include In My Time of Dying, Ten Years Gone, Achilles Last Stand, Nobody's Fault But Mine, Ramble On, Lemon Song, Since I've Been Loving You, Gallows Pole, When the Levee Breaks and I Can't Quit You. Everyone has their own list and this is mine. Peace Biz.
Hi Paul. I would beg to differ with you on CODA; it was not a creation of their label. To me, saying it was created by the label implies Atlantic took whatever they could find and cobbled it together for one last "hurrah" without input from the band but that wasn't the case here. Zep owed another album in their contract so Jimmy went searching out what few leftovers they had and the other two did add some vocals and instrumentation to help finish them the best they could before Jimmy produced the final product. How sad and a bit macabre to have to work on such a project - I can't imagine it. Anyway, if I misunderstood you, I apologize.
Great example of a pretty damn good Page and Bonzo interaction 7:05 - 7:10
A great movie opener song…
EP is not based on tracks. Close to the Edge by Yes is one of the best progressive rock albums ever. It’s 3 epic tracks!
Damn, nice channel.
Remember there were times other bands when u liked a song u had to wait for it to come back up on the 8 track we would just ride around lmao not for Led Zeppelin
this is a latter day sibly!
its not about the number of tracks, its about the length of it, you can only get so much on a record
✌
T for 1 shows Jimmy

Thought you were about to cry man
Its so bautiful a masterpiece 🤯
And written and recorded in 6 weeks which is why I believe they got such bad reviews on it.
The most boring, go-nowhere song off of their most underrated album.
Move on to Achilles Last Stand and Nobody’s Fault But Mine…this one is blah
Yo Bizmatic......im MC BIT COIN
