Congrats on Lenovo sending you this machine to review. You have another great video and a solid review for this product. Hope the love from Lenovo continues for you so you can keep making such great videos like these.
Yee thanks so much brudduh ❤️🤠
Congrats! You should have Waited for the 2024 Version!!!
Gorgeous laptop 💻 bro. 😎 dang dats nice
Definitely a beautiful beast of a laptop
Indeed. I forgot to mention how beautiful the rgb was too but I’m sure you can see it’s lit 🔥. I will be diving way deeper next video. Found a few tips and tricks as well to help any new laptop owners lookin at high end offerings such as this
It was this or the razer blade 16 2024 oled. I ended up with the Razer and so far no regrets! But that 9i is a beast as well! I do like having ports at the aft section of the laptop.
Could you do a review or recommendation to upgrade the drivers on your rog ally to the new fluid motion frames.
Im hesitating between the legion 4090 laptop versus the 4090 tower...could you advise and help men towards my decision
Quite the laptop. 🥵
Thnx brudduh! I hope you are enjoying ces! I’ll hopefully be there next year ! Def can’t wait to see all my bros there. Tell everyone howdy 🤠 for me ❤️
I'm not a fan of Lenovo products at all, but with that said this laptop is actually really really nice looking. Not a bad choice if you were gonna give up the desktop homie.
I’ve def stopped playing on the desktop for this for the time being so I will make a follow up video what it’s been like gaming on it and then try to show comparisons between my desktop 4090 and this. Also I’ve really been extremely impressed with Lenovo lately. I’ve got two of their laptops here with me and wow it’s pretty crazy how much they are doing and how satisfied I am. Thanks for the comment and I hope you stick around for the next one
To be fair, they're doing a lot of different things (as shown at CES), and that can be looked at as weird but I like innovation so yeah why not haha.
🎉
Def celebrating this thing having even more cpu power than my desktop lol. Rendering videos is faster than ever
*laughs in Rog Strix Scar 18*
What spec did you get and what’s the temps when gaming look like? I love strix laptops but they run a little warmer and the price is typically a bit higher. I will say I love my strix stuff, I’m a huge strix fan if you know me so I’m genuinely curious to get my hands on a like for like comparison
never buy asus they have gone down the toilet as a company, awful customer service, awful quality control, horrible dumb rgb designs for teenagers @@cppctek
He's ditching desktop?! BAN THIS MAN! 😂😅😂
lol well ditching for now **** lol. 😂 I always come back ;)
"good golly Molly" that's going in the book 'Things White people say' lol. Good video, love to see em
Lmao yeah it was corny aff but I try not to swear just since I want it to be family friendly lol 😂 I usually am never that corny. I cringed but let it roll. YOLO
:\
same performance as the i7 4090 laptop
meh...
In what metrics are we talking about. Cpu performance will surely be very different and different use case scenarios will show won’t show. But also some games are more gpu bound and some are cpu bound so saying they are the same is a massive statement that isn’t true.
Those temps are not that great. 94C brand new out of the box...not good.
I like Lenovo laptops, I still use mine from 2014, but 94C...could be trouble.
Mine hits 74c with a 4090 …while gaming. That’s a cinebench score. So you have to know if you are a pc person that’s not what gaming temps are right ? Cinebench test always max out wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy higher than gaming. Google it. Ask any tech person.
@@cppctek I am into computers since the early 80s. I know computers. The Cinebench score lasts few minutes with the CPU running at 100%. Having the CPU reach 94C after few minutes (or less as I don't know when exactly it hit those temps) is not good. The CPU might not reach 100% utilization while gaming, might is the magic word, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it does reaches 94C right out of the box when reaching 100%. That means if you use it for any workload which will require/can use 100%, it will easily reach that temp. Add to that that this is a brand new system, when it gets older with more dried out thermal paste (or liquid metal I don't know what it uses) and any dust, it won't be more than months or a year before you easily reach 100C on that CPU.
The system is a beast, but those CPU temps are a potential issue.
Thanks for the reply.
@@TrusteftTech My Razer blade 18 hits 100c and thermal throttles within 0.25s of starting a cinebench run, trust me - the Lenovo is killing it
@@knd4rkst4r I can't even comment on that without sounding like a dick. Good luck with the Razer.
hi, thought you should know that the 'liquid cooler' actually does nothing, its a 'water cooler' that doesnt even have a radiator, thats like having a car without wheels...
I think it uses "Vaper Chamber" cooling, which is a closed system that does use water. However it's not liquid cooling like a desktop.
Exactly, no where for the heat to escape. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't force the keyboard down and track pad tiny, the inside looks uneven and dispreportioned
