I think this was really deep because it showed love as a drug that has it's highs and lows, and the reality of our intimate relationships. just like with drugs, when we become acclimated to the chemicals for love in our brain we become numb to it and don't appreciate it like we used to, but just like addicts we need that high and so we lash out when we don't have it anymore. what K.flay does is encapsulate those moments when the dose is high enough to have an effect again and captures the Euphoria of the moment. The hedonic treadmill is just as accurate in regards to our relationships as it is to everything else.

It shows the power that drugs hold over one another and how it can take the focus off of true problems in relationships. This is why they’re dancing and arguing towards the end without her clicking the buttons.

I REALLY LOVED THIS. I think the surface message is that the song is entrancing enough that it makes people lose control and realize what's important, but to go even deeper, the fact that this track is meant to say "I don't need anything when I'm with this person, I don't need to be intoxicated, their love is enough for me" is really clear when you think about how it takes place in a trailer park where living conditions are not the best- but at the end, the couple realizes they don't need any material things as long as they have the love that brought them together in the first place. I love Flay sm!!!!!!!

I thought this song and the video was only about when you romantically love someone. It's not just that. It's about "getting high" on music. That couple in the trailer really dance as if they're "on something". Yes they are. ON MUSIC. That's why they dance! I know music is one of the best medicines that exist - because it helps me every day. Music makes us feel many wonderful things. Get "pumped up" by gangsta' raps to do the work-out, rock and metal makes us feel strong, sad things to "cry it out" and feel better after that, lo-fi music relaxes us and helps us to concentrate.. and .. when it rains outside and the water "drums" on our rooftops - it's just the music of nature. Music.. Melody is something repetitive, as a cycle.. as a life itself. And we can say it's beautiful when there's harmony and balance in it. I know "music" therapy would help the couples in conflict. This video has proven it to me. The couple was arguing, but dancing together helped them to calm down and brought them together! They started to "cooperate" in their movements, as a team! They expressed themselves physically, to get rid of "tension" or get rid of the emotions which were "caged" inside of them. Thank you, K.Flay. I always felt you were very special. You have "conquered" a very special place in my heart. ❤
