    Hi,
I like your Patterns, especially those for pike. And I like your humor, especially laughing about your faults. So I can be relaxed, I'm not the only one who fails.

That is a brilliant pattern Daniel. Here in the UK we use various wake flies for night fishing for sea trout and Booby foam flies for stillwater trout fishing. Your fly would great for both techniques. Cheers Phil

Nice job. A very tempting piece of protein for the torut or an invader to be removed from its territory. I will certainly give it a try this summer.

Not too proud to show what happens when things go wrong makes a refreshing videotape and it's given a fun element to your presentation. On the glue again you could perhaps glue your black and green foam together before offering it up to the hook shank with of course the black foam overlapping the green? Enjoy your presentations, keep them coming!

Hey Daniel, I have always thought you were really funny and I think I have discovered why you are so entertaining. You entertain yourself as much as anyone else. You laugh when you say things that occur to you to be erroneous and not useful you have a good laugh at your own expense. I know if I met you, after you got over my size (wow!) we would make each other laugh so much we probably wouldn't get much fishing done. I understand fish hear well. Doesn't seem to bother Pikes though cause I have heard you scream really loud when you get a lunker! :D All the best to you and your family. Thanks for the laugh. Sean

Nice & simple! Though, on reflection, I would have added thin black stripes with the marker to the belly to give it that shelled abdomen look to it that lots of insects have to truly finish it off. I decided my first fly is going to be a super simple black-marker-dotted wine cork popper fly with a small patch of my own long blond hair that matches it.

You can use regular craft foam from craft store. The 2mm works the best. The 3mm is the next size to use. If you need more info just contact me.
