I played high school hockey for 4 years, and my ritual on the bus ride to the games my freshman year was to listen to Nirvana. It carried on the whole four years, even after I stopped listening to the band so much. I couldn’t listen to anything else.

I’ve been a HEEL-to-TOE guy since I was 6 or 7 & have done that for 20+ years. Taped sooooo many sticks over and over and over on and off ice that it’s second nature. Great TJs, no wrinkles, etc. Had teammates ask me to tape their sticks b/c of that...all that said & even with decades of practice, if I try to tape TOE-to-HEEL...it’s a wrinkly mess. The process should be the same, just in reverse....same amount of pressure, same angle, same everything....but for the life of me, it never turns out that way when I try to go T-H. Lol. Idk. Maybe b/c it looked bad, so I’d just redo it H-T and never practiced enough T-H. But that’s always something that makes me chuckle when I see guys at the rink or on vids like this go TOE to HEEL. How second nature taping H-T is for me, like I’m not even paying attention to it..and yet how brutal it is when I try T-H
