I just found your channel. Thanks for the video. I like you! I'm being treated by the VA for PTSD MST and depression. I've also just filed my claim. No medication, I'm doing they call Prolonged Exposure. Im not sure it's helping, but it's gotten me thinking a lot about how messed up my life is due to my trauma. I'm 63, this happened when I was 18. Hopefully I'll get better at some point. I'll be watching your videos.

Apparently I have issues with that even though I used a special microphone and different computer this time. I will crank it up on the next one

Hey Doc I have subscribed a couple of times but don't seemed to have made it on the news letter distribution how can I rectify that?

Sometimes it ends up in promotions/spam. Admittedly I don't send many. There was one in October, one in February, one in April and one or two in May depending on how you count it. I am trying to do better but I don't want to send an email out unless there is something valuable or relevant news truthfully. Thanks

Does the V.A. frown on nexus letters from a doctor that lives 3 states away and has never seen the vet in person

It can depend on the context; nowadays what you just described could also apply to the C&P exam the VA purchased ;) ...if you do work with someone who isn't your treatment provider and may be further away (or even if they are your treatment provider or are close by) it is important that what they write is well-supported by your own medical records and the scientific evidence. That helps to reduce fraud concerns.

Volume is horrible, sir. You continue to fade in and out. How is it SO MANY CZcamsr’s get the volume wrong?

Thanks, yeah, I set up an old laptop with a microphone next to my regular computer so I can play around with recording quick videos when the mood strikes me. I used a better mic for this one but didn't mess with the gain. The next one coming I am closer to the mic. If that doesn't help I'll crank the gain up in the editing software and probably make your ears bleed. We'll see how many times I fail at getting them to sound good. ;)
