The bowel stuff sucks but you’re so right about still being around❤️😊 a lot of people say that after the the bag is attached they felt better than they had for years🤞 to be honest if a doctor told me that a colostomy bag would cure my bowel and rectum problems I think I would choose to be out of the pain and constant discomfort ❤️❤️❤️❤️ thanks for letting us know Sam. I'm happy that your scan results show no progression. Would eating a diet higher in fiber help the situation and possibly avoid the colostomy bag? Also, could removal of the hernia make a difference in the colon situation with regard to difficulty going to the bathroom? Before just accepting a colostomy bag, if I were in your situation I would ask for the hernia to be removed, then recover from that, and then compare the bathroom situation before and after hernia removal. Even surgically it would seem that removing a hernia while you don't have a colostomy bag would be easier than if you have the colostomy bag. Try everything you can to better the health of your colon before settling for the colostomy bag, and that includes removal of the hernia first because it is an obstruction of sorts.

YESSSSSS!!! Super news re scans Sam, very good. ❤️ The bowel.. I used to help a lady with a stoma, she got very elderly and I kinda became her stoma nurse, you can do it Sam!! Once you get hang of it.. I've just had my last of 27 treatments, 1 major surgery and recently 3 NED scans. The stress before a scan is quite unique I've found... I'm finding ways to direct the nervous energy I get. As a songwriter this is a useful tool for my sanity. Get creative baby!! 💋Sending big cwtch from Wales. ❤️

I had a colostomy at 19. It’s fine when you get used to it and I bet there are better products on the market now compared to the 90’s 💕💕
