Hey mate, I commented a while ago on one of your videos for this tutorial, and sounded like a bit of an arse, so just wanted to say thanks for the upload.
No problem I was still trying to master the knuckleball back then. Actually I still haven't mastered it seems like there's a lot of luck involved.

Awesome tutorial. Only one which actually works. What's the best build to take these kind of free kicks on pro clubs? CDM? since they have the highest composure?
CDM is the most accurate, striker has the most power. Also your shot power should be higher than your fk accuracy, since shot power is the most important attribute for knuckleballs. They are easier to score with real players like bale and kolorov which isn't fair for us pro clubs players.

Hi, I'm not sure. I've never played Fifa on Nintendo before but the technique should be the same. I don't remember my player in fifa 19 but I focus on Dribbling, Pace and some Strength
hey, one question, do you use the freekick trait for pro clubs. I mean its says it makes them more accurate, but I feel like its too much xD
Set Play Specialist? I don't use this because I think it only improves the precision of that yellow circle when you pass. You could try the trait to see of your free kick shot accuracy improves, let me know of it makes a difference.

Just move the player to the centre of the ball so he will strike the ball through the middle with no curve.

That problem sounds familiar but I don't really remember Fifa 19. I think it had something to do with his standing position.

You can do it with any build. Composure helps keep the ball on target more consistently. But it still works with low composure.

Bale, but you can do knuckleball with other run up styles.
@@MakeHaste Nice, and yeah I got it down in the skill game, but using Zlatan in FUT, he starts far from the ball, so it's kinda weird to do, but I'll get the hang of it. Free kicks are like the coolest thing in this game though.
Yeah free kicks are one of the few things I enjoy in this game, which is why I did tutorials on them. Btw far from ball is actually good for knuckleballs.

Hi, can you explain what you mean by disastrous punishments?
The ball movement on a knuckleball is unpredictable just like in real life you can't judge if the ball will go left or right. What you should concentrate on is keeping the ball below the crossbar. Since each player has different shot power you need to get used to how much bars of power to use for the player you are using.

@@paolofhstbdjdfjsjfbd1221 Okay you don't aim. That's the point of the knuckleball, so it moves by itself. You just need to make sure the player is running centre to the ball, that's why I'm moving him towards the ball.

@@MakeHastei do that but an example with messi /ronaldo happan some time go to others side but not where i aim, i do 2,5 of power and it go so much up/stay on the floor and it don't do that amazing movement of the ball it only move like shake but like 4 cm during the effect, i don't know how much steps i need to do and i dont know where to put the player when you aim
@@paolofhstbdjdfjsjfbd1221 Like it says in the video dont move the left stick on the run up. The movement on the ball is random, you're not going to hit the perfect knuckleball on every try.

Not really, some people say you can but it doesn't have any ball movement like this free kick does.
What about a penalty or is it just a free kick
@@fifadevoted4485 Just free kicks, you need some distance for the ball to travel to notice the ball movement. Also you can't move to the centre of the ball on penalties.

The ball movement is unpredictable, you should concentrate on keeping the ball below the bar. For that you need to learn how much power to use for the player you are using. (Each player needs a different amount of shot power)

@@renegadesoul4648 If he has less than 80 shot power then try slightly more than 3 bars of power. If he has more than 80 shot power then try 3 bars of power or slightly less.
The best thing to do is select him as your practice arena player and practice them in the practice arena or skill games. Knuckleballs are the most difficult way of scoring so don't worry too much about it.

You move the camera view before shooting. You don't aim the curve, because this would be a curved shot and not a knuckleball
Run after shot?
You can sprint on the run up, seems to give more power and accuracy. You don't need to, but works with a normal run up also

Yeah exactly, its all about where you position your player. I replicated the real life method of kicking the centre of the ball, the only way to do that in fifa is to not move the left stick and run from the centre.

It is a knuckleball. A knuckleball is supposed to have minimal curve, so the ball moves by itself. Moving the left stick will just add curve resulting in a curved free kick 🤦♂️

@@giulianomamane897 Yeah he hits it at the centre of the ball so theres less curve. The only way to hit the centre of the ball on fifa is to not move the left stick.
Its the same concept for the cue ball in snooker if you hit the cue ball away from the centre it will add curve.

This is just one variation of a free kick. Fifa has a lot more free kick variations. I don't like Fifa 19 gameplay much myself but it still feels better than pes.
