    Nobody is talking about the little change in the graphic visualization in this one! Here the pedal is also considered for the lenght of the falling notes, which I don't think it's the case in any other video of this type. Very interesting! And congratulations for the rich sound using so little pedal

      If I had to guess why, I surely can't be the only one who thinks these videos look much better when the notes aren't visually slurred together. When I made my own video with software like this, I originally had my pedal extending the midi note duration instead of functioning as the switch for my VST's sustain, and I really disliked it, so I changed it.

      He seems to only do it with the falling notes that have a transparent interior with a solid colored border. Like in his Fauré renditions too.

    This is the song I'm going to learn next - after my Grade 8 piano exam is out of the way. When I told me piano teacher that this is the piece I wanted to learn, he searched it up and so happened to found your video (this one). He said you must be a student and had put a lot of dedication into this piece in order to play up to a speed like this.

      @@sergeirachmaninoff6397 Traum has a second channel called Traumian, there is no way those videos are sped up, same with this channel. On this channel, he has put a timer on the piano to show the piece is not sped up.

      @@sergeirachmaninoff6397 The MIDI seems to show that it is not sped up. I have also played very fast pieces with synthesia, and sometimes the MIDI "blocks up" like it does here at 0:24. If it was sped up (originally played at a slower tempo), the MIDI would look like individual notes, but Traum is playing so fast that the MIDI can't keep up and instead clumps together.

      The pitch will definitely change if sped up on such a fast play.
      Unfortunately, I don't play any instrument, just love classical music and really appreciate Traum's selfless giving in the last 2 years. He is not simply an amazing pianist but one with a great heart.
