My top picks for now are without a doubt Su Ruiqi, Choi Yujin, Ezaki Hikaru, Seo Youngeun and Cai Bing (sorry if i spelled some names wrong or said the wrong surname, i’m still getting used to all of them 💀)
I was just so excited that Youngeun made top 9!! She was the first person who really caught my attention as potential bias material when we saw her fun energetic personality introducing herself and then her amazing performance of Kick It. And then even better, Xiao Ting, #1 from the C team, picks Youngeun to be in her cell, and then she picks Yurina, who was another one of the participants who caught my attention after she carried the Fancy performance. With two of my three picks in the same cell, I am predicting this is definitely going to be my favorite cell. I bet I will start to love Xiao Ting too, because she seems so sweet and is such an amazing performer!

I am rooting for a lot of girls but I am also rooting for bahiyyih because I think she has the potential. Her voice is good and she can dance well. There is some improvements that can be made but I hope there will be more clips of her future performances so we can see her potential and growth.
I'm rooting for her as well, because so far I've seen SOME people being nasty towards her. Commenting on different sites she doesn't deserve fame or votes because of her brother, or she doesn't deserve to debute because her brother is already famous and so fort. It's gross, she hasn't even debuted yet and I'm already worried for her well being with the online b*llies. If this is their mindset or fuel to hate now, imagine if or when she actually does debute. 🙄

I think it's fair. They are against 2 other groups meanwhile the other ones are "only" against 1 other groups. It would be kind of unfair in my opinion if the groups who are against more teams don't get "more" yk?
8:20 there is a chance that Yujin looks at her left while looking disappointed because her team loses. There are many speculation that stated, because groups that have strong contestants tends to have trouble to pick center and basically just fighting with each other, they will loose their teamwork. Hence losing the competition (this is other people theory, not mine). So Yujin's group maybe had lost the battle. I might be wrong but that is what my speculation from the clip.
@@zainabhaider8747 No there are no news regarding that. These are rumors coming from the fact that the videos on her channel have been taken down or hidden away. The only lead about that is her friend who said she is rearranging her channel because she's about to post more content. So we don't really know yet what's up.

Sadly, I can already see Mnet's preference for certain contestants. My picks so far are C-Group's Ziyin, Xiaoting and Ruiqi as well as J-Group's Yurina. I also like Hikaru and Mashiro. I will keep my fingers crossed for them, wish them all the best and hope they will debut together at the end! Btw, the Universe app SUCKS!!!!!!
Just wanna put it out there that Yujin never used the wording "disbanded". It was misinterpreted by a lot of people. What she said was that "the company said there will be no more group promo", so basically a hiatus. I'm not saying they will surely have a comeback but the disbandment isn't official. And if Yujin gets very famous, who knows..
@@inyour_wetdreams Gyuri didn't join produce 48 to promote fromis_9 because fromis_9 at that time is decently famous and having quite high sales ... She joined because she sent the audition before she join/during idol school ..she didn't know she will debut either..
With 99 contestants its honestly hard to remember names and performances so I'm not upset that they are eliminating so many contestants. Its going to be hard to vote because there are a lot of contestants that I like. It sucks that with so many contestants were not going to be able to see the girls equally so some might go unnoticed in the competition. My favorites so far are Choi Yujin, Kim Dayeon, Huening Bahiyyih, and Kim Bora from K group. Su Ruiqi and Shen Xiaoting are my top picks from C group. I also like Zhang Loufei and Gu Yizhou because I think they have lots of potential and room to grow. And J group I really like Ezaki Hikaru, Kawaguchi Yurina, Kubo Reina, and Nonaka Shana. There are some others I like too but I think after next weeks performance and elimination it'll be easier to narrow down who I want in the top 9.
I honestly hate watch kpop survival shows because of this 99 contestants and only 9 will make it???? Sigh, i love every single contestant its so hard :(
@@itsnika3309 I agree, I always feel bad watching survival shows only because it’s obvious that some girls will be more popular and some will go unnoticed. It’s even worse whenever the girls say things like “this is my last chance to debut” or something like that because then I feel bad. They should’ve had less contestants on the show if they’re only going to pick 9.
i’m so excited to see how all the groups would perform, but i’m most excited abt the “the eve” group just because of the people that are in the group .. as well as seeing how they will work together cause that preview ?? seemed chaotic for them 😭😭

The mamamoo performance left me speechless, I was so into it I rewatched it a couple of times because of how much I loved it. Reina especially, she has got some incredible vocals and she absolutely nailed the performance. My other absolutely favourite performances were the Wow Thing girls, Yujin and Su Ruiqi. I was looking forward to Ziyin's performance but they cut it out :( As for the Mr. Chuu performance, since I was rooting for Bahiyyh I was interested in seeing them, but I do agree that something was off key. They all had potential but they seemed so nervous, if they fix this they can improve and do better. I don't have much to say about the Top 9, I don't agree with some of the choices but some of my picks are already there so it's ok. I'm so excited for next week's episode, I want to see how they will perform the songs they have chosen, espcially HYLT and Mic Drop.
Im so excited to see Zhang Luofei perform! They cut her violeta audition, but on youtube she was one of the most stable vocals there so I'm excited to see if she will do fifth season well

I started watching GP999 because of Su Ruiqi, Yujin and Kubo Reina, I knew her since Prizmmy and I was impressed by her vocals. I already know that she is a really good dancer so she is an all-rounder. I also like Sakamoto Mashiro and Xu Ziyin so my votes will be for this 5 and their respective cells
What makes me roll my eyes hard is okay if as people say the show had set her up on the rude behavior part, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that people are openly commenting they're willing to look past her saying the N word or the racist behavior. Like the kpop industry already had tons of racially motivated scandals which got the same treatment as this, and I hate that so much. 😑
I'm really sad Kim sein didn't make it to the top9 she was really powerful in the crazy performance and had so strong vocals, she was the only trainee besides Yujin who really stood out to me
Not gonna lie J1 and C1 are talented but like I'm not yet flabbergasted by their performances, of course the show is just starting. My top faves are Bora from Chebu, Chiayi from Fanatics and unfortunately the evil mnet editing is making the J group pretty invisible, so I don't have another J group fave other than May from Chebu, I was so happy Yujin picked her.

lets not ignored the other team here... the last 3 or 4 performances were all cutted out completely in the show, atleast bahiyyih already has a fanbase
Be thankful that mnet still aired their performance unlike the rest who really was cutted by mnet not even a single glimpse of their in the episodes they just post it on youtube.

i can see the pretty u team winning because i think the only thing they would worry about is sk’s high note, the chorus is more simple that the other songs imo. also i really want kim doah to debut she is talented in everything (dance, vocal, rap, acting) and i consider her pretty face as a bonus! and right now her cell is one of the safest cell which is great!
I find it surprising that Hikaru is the top 1.... She has a lot of talent but she looks a bit edgy, not as "girly" as the enormous majority of Kpop female Idols and trainees. So it's surprising!

I did the voting this morning, but because I could not find the full episodes, I only got to watch the performances, which was fine, but the problem with that is that I had to go frame by frame of their performances to find who was who, by attempting to read the name tags, and I actually voted for the wrong girl because I had to guess based on facial features. Anybody know where I can find the full episodes with subtitles? Let me clarify first, just because I say a vote was accidental does not mean I think that girl did badly. How did you even reach to that conclusion? It was explicitly said that 16 cells/48 girls are being eliminated and the judge safe pass thing could only save 1 girl from each planet, so 45 girls will be eliminated in the first elimination.

i honestly think Yujin's audition teaser from episode 1 is a case of an evil edit. it's more of dramatic cliffhanger.
i can see the pretty u team winning because i think the only thing they would worry about is sk’s high note, the chorus is more simple that the other songs imo.
also i really want kim doah to debut she is talented in everything (dance, vocal, rap, acting) and i consider her pretty face as a bonus!

I find it surprising that Hikaru is the top 1.... She has a lot of talent but she looks a bit edgy, not as "girly" as the enormous majority of Kpop female Idols and trainees. So it's surprising!

I did the voting this morning, but because I could not find the full episodes, I only got to watch the performances, which was fine, but the problem with that is that I had to go frame by frame of their performances to find who was who, by attempting to read the name tags, and I actually voted for the wrong girl because I had to guess based on facial features. Anybody know where I can find the full episodes with subtitles?

How did you even reach to that conclusion? It was explicitly said that 16 cells/48 girls are being eliminated and the judge safe pass thing could only save 1 girl from each planet, so 45 girls will be eliminated in the first elimination.
