Can anyone tell me how to make better CZcams videos?
Foil, Arms and Hog are an Irish comedy trio who have been going for at least a decade now. Their main love is live shows and they tour all over the 🌎 but they also do sketches on CZcams. I've only discovered them this year so I've looked back on their work and the earlier stuff was a lot more edgy - not so much the last few years but I love their " if vegetables went to a club" and "if the food in your fridge could talk" type of sketches - so inventive. They make me smile but no-one I repeat *no-one* comes close to Stephen Tries ( just look at my user name!! comedy wise - he is simply the best (Rip Tina 🙌) ❤😊✌

I think Stephen just needs to be on a panel show. Like 8 out of 10 cats. I think that would show his potential and get him in the mainstream. He could have a go at writing a sitcom but I don’t think it would work, however a sketch show he could probably do and be very good at.

@@PoisonSnowApple yeah defo, he’d be a lot better than the people on series 16 they just announced. I thought it was losing its way with the last few series. Still don’t like mae muller winning given she was the least funny or entertaining person on the show
Jack is in a strange position of both being a posh lad but down to earth at the same time the fact he is in Hollywood movies and Still has time for creative CZcamsrs and even with bad education he was pushing young talent… just seems like a great bloke

I used to really dislike Jack Whitehall and not find him remotely funny but he has won me over down the years. Has improved at what he does and seems a genuinely sound guy

He is a comic genius, his roasts of the sidemen are great, he would be good on something like 8 out of 10 cats or mock the week
I used to not like jack's comedy but in recent times I'm loving it
I prefer Jack with his Dad or just being himself, not a great fan of his comedy though don't hate it - but did look for tickets.

I would love Stephen to do a sketch show. British sketch shows historically have been some of the best of our comedy and there is a distinct dearth of them on tv these days and that saddens me. The occasional one that has popped up just has not been up to par but I think Stephen could do it and bring back what seems to have become a bit of a forgotten art form

I love Stephen Tries. Comedy in general has hit the skids a bit in recent times as it’s not fashionable to be funny at the expense of others. I hate the word woke but it’s kind of what life is right now. Big comedians are scared of being cancelled so keep their best stuff for paying audiences. The mainstream is scared of offensively funny and TV producers shy away from it. Sketch comedy although fast paced doesn’t appear to have a place on TV anymore either. When I was a teenager there was nothing better than Friday night TV; Fast Show, Goodness Gracious Me, Smack the Pony, Bo Selecta the list is almost endless. A lot changes in 20-25 years.

Stephen deserves as much publicity on mainstream TV as Munya Chawawa gets, not to say he doesn’t deserve it, but Stephen needs to get on proper TV and show what he can do a more “traditional” media and bridge an audience that otherwise just wouldn’t know he existed, which would be a waste of talent

Little Britain was actually shit, I thought this (and many others did) at the time. The reason sketch shows like that don’t exist is not because of “the woke mob” but because shows like The Office came along and completely changed the landscape of comedy in the UK and US. Sketch shows were seen as cheap and not very innovative.
