Yes Joanne I agree with you!!! It is and it was 2 years ago time to give people a chance to believe in love, no matter what kind of relationship it is!!! They did a great job together and Holby City should have think that a happy ending between Bernie and Serena. From what I have reading and listening they were the first lesbian on a Tv. Honestly they did a great job and there was a beautiful chemistry between both, as humans, as friends. Even know that Bernie was not available to be back on scene, probably as they wanted, and we know she’s being on theatre also, there was no reason for holby city ending her the way they did. It was very cold all Bernie death and “tribute” that holby city did to her. They could have done better and they should have done better because the holby city is not the same powerful tv as before. And honestly it was great to see Serena leaving. She was not the same after Bernie death. They lost a lot with killing Bernie and they could have keep this two together for a happy ending. It’s time for people believe that love it’s possible!!!
They did a great job together and all the times they both talked about it on different interviews we could see they are two big actresses with a great respect for each other.

@@elisabetesilva5827 Did you continue to watch? Because they brought her back before the show ended. Good for them and I'd bet it was because of fans like you who felt they deserved better. I know the writers certainly heard from a lot of people. It ended well for them. I was pleased.
