Honestly these songs from the Old Hillsong Worship are just so annointed, I long for these type of worship songs. I really miss the 90s Hillsongs, where the music is simple and just straighforwardly praising and exalting God. The New generation of Hillsong is just so different in terms of musicality. The tone and sounds are not the same. It feels more like entertainment and performance rather than being in praise and worship.

Yeah, just look at some of the new music video releases from Hillsong Yonge and Free and you'll think you are watching something from Hollywood. Looks like they are making more music stars to compete with Justin Beiber in the Christian world rather than worship music.

I tend to use the 90s songs for devotion but the modern songs for entertainment as they are not fit for devotion. My mother passed by the other day and thought I was watching a movie when I was playing the modern Hillsong worship songs. That's the loudest indictment that I've heard against those videos. A true Christian can not distinguish a modern Hillsong worship presentation to a movie (i.e. and movies can not be used for devotion unless it's a Passion movie) in terms of the vibe it is giving off.

This song also reminds me of my late father. Yesterday was his 8th death anniv. I will always be grateful for him because he thought us to keep our faith in God no matter how hard the life is. I miss him, the times we worshipping God with the whole family.

This hillsong is definitely one of those songs that God heard and couldn't resist but nod to it and put a stamp of approval on it! Love the focus here. The focus being on lifting the name of Jesus, no matter the sacrifice. The focus on most of the stuff today is on entertainment. The modern person is only interested in feeling good & thinking good things about only themselves.

Oh my God! I'm in love with this album Blessed. The songs have simple lyrics but, at the same time, such a powerful worship to God. I love them. Through all the songs we can exalt our God. He is, definitely, the centre of this album, the songs are all about him. The song "I adore" is one of my favorite. When I'm listening to it, I just want to stop everything and worship the King of the universe. Amazing album!
