If you were in a show with Marcello and saw the amount of effort he was giving you could not resist having his work ethic as a role model...yet somehow it was all fun...indescribable

wow... the sync is WAY off and is the audience auditioning for the part of Mimí? I mean, they are coughing like a TB ward! His singing is quite nice here. Still, I can't help but notice some wobble on the top notes. Makes me wonder about his support. His top note on "l'speranza" is very shrill and thin- it sounds pushed. Perhaps another indication of lack of support? That said, this is better than his Flower Song- maybe because it's in Italian though.

This is one "of my teachers" so to speak. I think he is singing with ease and overdoing...He has lasted long as a singer...Not trying to sound to dark,like some other tenors do.
You could find a video with me singing this aria,(and even the duett to on the same video...) I know the tenorpart and I am available for this opera and 8 other.....Kári Friðriksson (tenor with simular voice type as Giordani.)
This is disappointing. The voice spreads and droops out of pitch at every turn, when it isn't sounding constricted and strained.
Having ease & resonance in the upper reaches of the voice can't make up for such general musical inelegance.
