yeh so people can be addicted to more than one thing and you can be more addicted to one substance over others. cocaine sounds more exciting but that doesn't mean it's the bigger problem for hunter as an individual. he has specified that drinking was really what he focused on, his ex wife also referred to his alcoholism in her book. alcohol is extremely normalised but it's also extremely addictive. more people binge drink than you think. alcohol is also a drug.

the biden's are saints, i swear. the way they've handled everything thrown at them with such grace. allowing it all to make them more kind and forgiving. these are role models.
i recommend more people follow their lead. negativity eats away at so many, that's why we have the habit of targeting and needing to control others. it's a sick cycle but that doesn't mean everyone is bad. we just need the good ones to be loud.
hunter doesn't play the victim. he is the victim. he's long had his character twisted and shamed. he's always taken accountability, he's always been a private citizen. addicts have an illness, they're not bad people and since hunter isn't a public figure his addiction isn't impacting anyone other than himself and his family.
entitlement, especially with the rise of social media, has ruined any chance of privacy for too many people. it's not even just those like hunter who happen to be related to public figures. but we're seeing this issue grow, with people filming strangers for views and likes. for trends. it's so harmful.
how many times do we have to watch people be broken down? how many times do we have to 'come to our senses' after ruining someone before we decide to just not dehumanise literal human beings?
if your first thoughts are to invalidate who hunter is, i want you to ask yourself why. why am i doing this? who told me it was ok? am i as informed as i can be to form an opinion on a real life person? what am i getting out of hating someone i will never know? what is that connected to?
it's not hunter's fault that he was born the son of a politician. it's not hunter's fault he sustained horrific trauma as a 2 year old. it's not hunter's fault he's a human being who reacted to a horrible situation by trying to cope in any way he could. what is somewhat his fault is not paying his taxes, which he's already admitted to and paid back. you lot act as if he's murdered someone. the excuse to hate him is always a bunch of not big deal things or lies.
it's the same for joe. joe's a decent person who's spent his life just trying to be his best for others. you can criticise some of his judgements but acting as if you're a superior being who's never made a few mistakes is.....come back down to reality. most people including politicians aren't evil for the sake of being evil. this isn't a hollywood film. when president biden goes home he eats dinner, spends time with his wife and kids and pets and goes to bed. he doesn't sit in a tower planning ways to do criminal things and hurt the feelings of 'david from ohio'.
people aren't one thing. people aren't solely their past, present or future. we are everything, every choice and everything we didn't choose that forced certain decisions upon us. if you can't view people as people, forgive and move on. you'll never be happy yourself. no one is happy sitting behind a screen raging for no reason with no real effect other than to make the world a terribly sad place.
do you know how privileged you all are right now to have to create a problem for entertainment? when there's real problems that people have faced over history. if anyone's playing the victim, it's you. get better yourself instead of whining about how everyone else is to blame.

I'm a conservative and even though i disagree with Moby on almost everything, I can appreciate this, I've never liked how both sides of yhe political devide demonize each other. We are all flawed human beings, that's why Jesus died for us, so that through faith and repentance we can be reconsiled to God and be forgiven because we all for short. We also have to forgive others, on both sides because we are no better
