This song came into my mind this morning while I sat reading a book written by the late Catherine Marshall. My thoughts had drifted off remembering a broken dream that had caused a great deal of emotional pain to me. I laid my book in my lap as a tear rolled down my cheek, and I once again felt the hurt and shame of that disappointment. I became aware of words from a song going through my mind and I began to pay attention. The words. . . “Give them all to Jesus, shattered dreams, wounded hearts broke and torn. Give them all to Jesus and He will turn your sorrow into joy.” I knew the Lord was talking to me through this song. I haven’t heard this song in years. I looked it up which is what brought me here this morning. Beautiful and timeless in its message.

Today I am preparing a lesson on Anxiety.worry, and , fear and this song popped up in my mind. I love it. Lay every thing down at the feet of Jesus and He will turn your sorrow into joy.

01/27/2021.. I woke up this morning with this song in my spirit.. not particularly this singer but the lyrics spoke to my heart by the Holy Spirit.
We are living in perilous times.. I give all my children, grandchildren, friends and loved ones that are not saved or living in sin to Jesus today in Jesus NAME 🙏.

In the past three years I've been separated from an abusive husband and sixteen months ago got a divorce. I had been married for forty two years. Candy Christmas reminds me of the Christmas spirit, which is always about giving. Giving all to Jesus, because HE first gave all to us. HE always turns our sorrow into joy always. Always . Broken hearts, shattered dreams, wounded toes...just like my wounded toe that's now recovered literally after listening to this song for two straight weeks. Oh, praise the unchangeable changer!
