Huge Schindler Hydraulic elevator @ Minneapolis Airport Minneapolis MN

This was taken about 5 minutes after the epic fail. If you notice It finally came down, i don't know why the DH button holds the doors for 5 mins!! anyway, these are nice elevators. This is 2 trips on the elevator. Facebook: / dieselducy

I think those kind of elevators with glass in the actual doors is really cool! Lets you see all the floors go by, and when you are on the floor, you can look into the shaft and see the inner workings.

There's a reason why the doors stay open. The MAC decided that for "customer service" purposes, elevators will go to every other level and keep the doors open until someone gets on and presses a different floor.

Both banks of these have been completely replaced by a brand new bank of 6 Schindler elevators! Yes, SIX elevators for one bank. They’re completely custom with innovation “BIG Buttons” and unique lanterns. If you’re ever up here again, you’ll have to see them!

Actually the "T" isn't for tram or terminal as those things are on other floors... it stands for tunnel.

Both banks of these are gone. There is a bank of 3 now on this side that looks identical but smaller. They are planning to take out the escalators separating the 2 banks to make a bank of 6 elevators.

mostly its a airport, vandels their almost every day so they put in vandel resistant rather than crappy plastic buttons that can get broken easy

I have never been on your freight elevator models or any of your traction models. You guys make awesome elevators. Can you ask Schindler to do an autism outreach for me because I have had autism all of my life. Again Schindler is an awesome company I'm glad you work for them. I'm proud of you.
