Babbitt Ranch Passage: Arizona Trail

After coming down from the San Francisco Peaks, I hike the 24.5 long Babbitt Ranch Passage of the Arizona Trail. Most of this passage is a roadwalk, but the trail eventually leaves the road at the Kaibab National Forest boundary.

That stock tank looked pretty nasty and very muddy all around it. How do you get to the stock pond and collect water

+azcolby40 There were a few spots where you could get close to the water without sinking in mud.
